The music was great! Service was great! Great strawberry margarita! Free shaded parking in a dirt lot. Although it sits on the river it was still hot if you don’t get a seat under the porch with fans. The big disappointment was the Flounder sandwich—way too much breading on a skinny filet although you did get 2 of them it still was not satisfying
Was a little bummed for a Friday night, there was no live music or much of anything other than a great view! It's more of a small town family restaurant that serves beer more so than a bar!
Waterfront, Relaxing, Great Shrimp
On our way down to the Fort Myers area we wanted some light lunch at some waterfront place. We found this place on the internet and gave it a try. It sits right on the Alafia River and according to our server, has had its share of damage from recent storms. More from storm surges than wind, but they are up and running. The neighborhood near the restaurant is in pretty bad shape for the storms. Clearly a favorite stop for motorcyclists...
