food is good but service is terrible. i had to ask my server multiple times to bring out my forgotten food and we waited over 30 minutes for 1 box. the hosts are not friendly or welcoming either. i was stared at when i walked in and left, i wasn’t greeted or even smiled at.

Waiting for happy hr in he parking lot.. see someone leave with their order and bring it back, droped it off and left.. so I left.. I also door dash and every time I go in there it smells like the drains are backed up!!!

Love this place. Can't say enough about one of my top two restaurants to go to in Green Cove Springs.

Service is always friendly and prompt. If you come during the middle of the day, there's a happy hour you can take advantage of. They also have daily specials to include both food and alcoholic beverages. If you're interested in deliver or takeout, I've seen them extend the Taco Tuesday special on Uber Eats as well for those days where you can't get to the restaurant itself. The restaurant can get a little busier Friday and weekend nights.

The food itself is above average for standard Mexican-American fare. Personally, I love their street tacos consisting of a variety of different meats of your choice. The Mariachi Burrito and their birria-related offerings are also excellent choices. Every table comes with a free serving of their fresh chips and tasty homemade salsa. As for drinks, there's an abundance of choices from Mexican coke and a ton of different margaritas.

When it's finally time to go, they offer the ability to pay by phone in addition to having the server process the card. It makes getting out a ton easier.

With that being said, give this place a shot. I've tried most of their nearby competitors at this point, and they don't compare.

As a repeat customer I arrived at 8:46 pm and was told sorry we can’t seat a party of 8 because the kitchen just closed!!!
Mind you we called and they advised they close at 9:00 prior to arriving..
I asked to speak to a manager and a young boy who I was speaking too about this said the manager left for the night which I find hard to believe as a manager generally closes and handles all the nights monies..
I vowed never will I ever return and I will make sure all who I encounter will know of my experience and how rudely I was treated by a young boy who looked 16 years old if that!!

Needless to say La Casita though they close at 9:00 as well welcomed us and were appreciative of our business!!!

Terrible service. As a man who works i get a 1 hr lunch break. It to an hour to get tacos, 30 minutes to get the first drink, ceviche taco had no flavor, beef taco had no flavor, the hostess fella he's the man. Thank you for getting our first round of drinks. I work everyday in the hot sun, Tuesdays is me and my crews day to have a taco Tuesday and this place has been the worst. And i eat at a lot of Mexican restaurants and i have 2 favorites as well as my coworkers. Taco Libre in St. Augustine and one more on Yellow bluff rd in Jacksonville. Those have and always been the best with service and food. I know for me I will not come back.
