The Butcher Block Kitchen is a great little local restaurant with amazing food like sweet and spicy chicken & waffles, smoked sausage Cowboy omelet, and homemade grits. The atmosphere is lovely with live music, a clean area, and friendly service. The restaurant has a huge parking lot and wheelchair accessibility with a ramp. It's a perfect spot to enjoy delicious meals, high biscuits, and learn about their weekly events and dinner specials. A welcome change from city life with a smoker outback!
Customers enjoy large portions and tasty dishes like the best burger, flounder and eggs, crab, green tomato, eggs Benedict, and perfectly prepared shredded hashbrowns. The breakfast is flat out fantastic, with amazing dishes like the belly buster with delicious crispy chicken, bacon, scrambled eggs, and sausage gravy served over a light fluffy biscuit. The servers are efficient, funny, knowledgeable, and attentive. The place is a little odd shaped, but the decor is interesting. Many plan to return for the good food and welcoming atmosphere.
