My wife and I were celebrating our 52nd Anniversary, her 76th birthday and my 79th birthday on 16th of February. The Manager was Extremely Welcoming and Super Nice. Once KATIE found out we were Celebrating Our Birthdays and Anniversary She Gifted us each with slices of Fantastic Tasting Red Velvet Cake. The Food was delivered fast and Hot! “We love Casino Beach Bar! As a loyalty member though, I can recommend the food, service and views. For anyone needing to use their restrooms, just don’t! I’ve been 3 days in a row and the toilets are all disgusting! I spoke with the manager who said they are used a lot and they can’t keep up with cleaning them. I assure you, they have not been cleaned once in the 3 days straight I was in there. It was obvious in every stall I attempted to use. There is no excuse for a nice restaurant to allow their restrooms to get that bad. They should be checked every hour with the traffic that comes through there. Take pride in your restaurant! It is a tourist destination and the locals support you. Just do better!“

“Restaurant Iron has long been our go-to destination in downtown Pensacola. Its intimate ambiance, dedicated upscale menu, and consistent quality made it stand out above any other establishment in the area. We’ve brought out-of-town guests to showcase the richness of the local cuisine, always confident that the experience—from the first cocktail to the last bite of Nutella or raspberry ganache pie—would impress. Our typical order was a ritual: shareable truffle fries, a perfectly cooked ribeye (always photo-worthy), and a decadent dessert to close. These elements, paired with the cozy atmosphere, were what made Iron so special. Unfortunately, our most recent visit on May 9 was deeply disappointing. Despite the torrential downpour, we didn’t think twice about keeping our reservation. But upon arrival, we were met with an entirely different experience. The menu, which now features sliders and sandwich-style dishes, felt more suited for a casual lunch spot than the refined dining experience we had come to love. Several signature dishes were removed, and the new offerings didn’t align with the elevated identity Iron once upheld. Even the menu design itself no longer reflects the restaurant’s original charm. Service also fell short of expectations. We were served the wrong salad, and the correct one arrived without dressing. Dessert—though eventually comped—took an unexpectedly long time to be served, rounding out an already lackluster evening. We truly hope this is a temporary shift. Restaurant Iron was once our top choice for special occasions and recommendations. But based on our last visit, we no longer feel confident choosing it for a date night or referring friends and family. Please reconsider restoring the signature dishes and experience that made Iron exceptional.“

“We had reservations for 630 and were quickly seated. Our server Gavin was fabulous and kept our glasses full and our heads going with a wealth of knowledge about the entrees and specials answering all our questions without being overbearing. He did a great job keeping us happy. For cocktails we really liked the Smoked Pancetta Old Fashion. Smoky and a little sweet tasting, delicious! The New Orleans Shrimp were almost as good as the real thing and the whipped feta was served with grilled sourdough was out of this world! We had the Doppio, Ravioli and Beef Short Ribs. All dishes were well presented and delicious. I definitely recommend a visit to Angelenas.

“John the bartender made awesome drinks and was very helpful. Our waitress was very nice and responsive even though she was the only one working and had a lot of tables to manage. The food didn’t live up to the standard set by the drinks and the friendly staff. The grouper was average and the skirt steak asada was really tough…and had to be sent back twice. I’d go again as the atmosphere, staff and drinks were top shelf.“

Good pool table, but you better bring your own stick. The loaner sticks are old and have been abused by patrons. 2 dart boards with fairly decent loaner darts. Bartender always friendly ? This place has a good mixture of people old and young. I always have a good time when I come to the trail. I didn't realize they had food I will try next time.“

Be nice if you left the door open for the smoke to air out, as i smell like an ash tray when i get home, but it wont stop me from coming. Always a good place and never a problem“
