My husband and I decided to check this new spot out when we wanted to get arepas. Let me say they did NOT disappoint! I was able to get one of my favorite juices (soursop) and the arepas were OUT of this world! When we’ve had them at other places, they’ve been fluffier, thicker and far too dry with little to no flavor. At 1Chick 1Bro, they were a great thickness and the total opposite of dry with a crisp from the pan on the outside. There was the wonderful flavor of the masa...
This place is a St. Petersburg hidden gem. The sign is small and the atmosphere is nothing to brag about but holy cow….the arepas are to die for. The meat was perfectly cooked and an absolute flavor bomb! You have got to come try this place out. We’ll be back for sure.

Do not sleep on this place!!! The arapas are so, so good! I can barely eat a whole one myself but that does not stop me from trying! The staff are super friendly and kind too.
