Not sure why Peninsula Cocktails & Kitchen is allowing dinner reservations - because they are not open for dinner. I made the reservation for dinner, got the acknowledgement, got the confirmation of the reservation. So we arrived, tried to check in, only to be told they are NOT open for dinner. Then why are they accepting reservations? Ruined a birthday surprise. Dinner was partially salvaged by waiting for a table at Pia's Veranda.

Wednesday evening they have wonderful live music but the food is pricey.

First time to Peninsula, great food and portions! Definitely a great option. Everyone at the table was happy (1 year old up to 60 year old). Drinks were strong Staff was great and accommodating.

This a cute place. We had a table outside and we were able to enjoy the nice weather. We had brunch. They had a small menu for brunch but the plates were good. After that we walked down the street to see the beach. Beautiful location

The menu needs some help. I had the chicken sandwich and it was not good, fries were room temp. I am pretty certain the Grey Goose wasn't, it has a distinct flavor. Server thought it was Titos, which I dislike, so probably was. My partner ordered a mule - got something else. The server seemed confused until we ordered another one and it was a mule. Won't be back.

Small menu, food was good, server was nice but it took so long for our first drink to come the ice was melting. Overall it was ok. The next question is: Would I recommend to a friend? It won't let me let me skip, because I don't want to say yes or no... not great but not bad enough to say no.

This restaurant was dealing with short staff when we went there… the menu was cut down… the food was awesome, the wait staff were awesome, and the duo they had singing made the time stand still. No matter the issue, they were able to show their best! I would recommend this place anytime!!

Took friends visiting to Isabelle’s for brunch on Sunday and it was delightful! We opted to sit inside in the AC and Zach was our server. He was fantastic! We all loved our bloody Mary’s and mimosas and our meals were all fantastic! Amongst the group we had smoked salmon avocado toast, smoked salmon benedict and a short rib benedict. All excellent and definitely recommend.

My friend and I were thrilled to discover this vintage, seaside gem (built in 1905)! Isabelle's is a cultured escape from the litany of unvaried beachcomber grills that saturate St. Pete. We loved dining al fresco on the sweeping, airy veranda. The swordfish is excellent, and the elderflower martini is a must. The menu is mostly Southern cuisine with a modern spin--think succotash and fried green tomatoes. Alijah was a fantastic server; he goes above and beyond to be helpful, and has a great sense of humor--a true delight. It's worth noting the abundant dog-friendly seating, great live music and table side magic. And if you love haunted places--you'll be deliciously spooked to know Isabelle's is named after one of several happy ghosts whom local legends claim occupy this space.

Sunday brunch, sat outside for live musician atmosphere, unfortunately no tent fans only regular plug in fans that were shared with other tables.Only serves Folger regular coffee, no Espresso, latte or cappuccino :(Regular coffee was bland. Better coffee at 711.Ordered Classic Eggs Benedict and very tasteless. Any extras like bacon or toast was brought after we started eating our eggs before they got cold. Service OK.For $$ will not return.

Dog friendly patio and live music was just what we needed after being shunned away from Pia's across the street long story but I'll be sure to update my review for them. Trey was our server on the patio and he provided great service. Ordered the BLT deviled eggs, apple salad, and oysters Rockefeller for apps and they were all great choices. Dinner we opted for spinach artichoke stuffed chicken and braised short ribs. Loveddd the chicken! Husband thought the short rib was a little dry but overall enjoyed it. If you're looking for a cute historic spot to eat Isabelle's should be on the list!

The food and ambiance are lovely, especially if you are looking for a cute date spot or a nice dinner with outdoor, covered seating. The food was wonderful, service was great and I have been a number of times and it is always consistent. Highly recommend!

We had a reservation for five people at 7:15 last night. At 7:30 we had to track down a server. He approached our table wearing sun glasses and immediately brought the wrong bottle of wine. Then told us that was the replacement wine and that they were out of the bottle we ordered. We ordered our meals at the same time we ordered our wine. An hour and 20 minutes later our food arrived. I ordered shrimp and grits. The grits were the consistency of rubber. There were five tiny chunks of sausage and four over-cooked shrimp and the sauce was nowhere to be found. All five dishes were cold. The short ribs were over-salted. The scallops were over cooked. The risotto was mushy and flavorless. While we were waiting for our food we asked for some bread. We were offered hush puppies. Those arrived after we ate what few bites of our food that we could manage to choke down. We sent them back. The food runner looked disgusted with us. There was a man playing electric guitar and singing in the courtyard but he was so loud we had to yell across the table to be heard. An acoustic player would have been more appropriate. We were also promised a magic trick but sadly the magician never came to our table. There were two tables next to us that were seated before us that never got their food. They finally gave up after over two hours and canceled their orders and went somewhere else. This was our first time at this restaurant and we were hosting out of town guests. I was so embarrassed that I brought them to Isabelle's. I will continue to search for a good restaurant for special occasions and to bring my friends and family when they come to visit. -New Gulfport Resident still in search of an upscale restaurant.

Nice Dinner & EntertainmentIt was a beautiful Sunday evening, so we really enjoyed the outside dining with a very good singer/guitarist.Service was slightly confused and each time the server left the table they came back with another item struck off the menu.Sunday has a nice all-day happy hour and the Bloody Mary was quite good. The food was fine, but all tasted heavy and without much personal care or finesse. Everything was fine…just fine…3 stars for food and service plus 1 star for setting and entertainment.

Charming, and Amazing,, Isabella's has hands down the best food in Gulfport. The hotel Historic Peninsula Inn is everything you would want and except in an historic inn. Excellent housekeeping, clean rooms, smiling faces and attentive Housekeepers,as well as all the staff. Can't say enough. A must visit.
