If you need seafood, this is the only place you need in Pinellas county. The employees there are friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of seafood. I highly recommend.

I just received my second order of seafood from Key West Seafood Company. It will be my last. My first order consisted of tuna, mahi, scallops, and shrimp. The mahi was edible, but certainly did not taste fresh. My second order contained grouper, mahi, scallops, and crawfish tails. One piece of mahi had some color, the other one was completely gray and slippery. I threw it out. Prior to moving to North Carolina, I fished the Atlantic and Gulf Waters for many years and I know what fresh mahi looks like. This wasn't even close. The crawfish tails were frozen and marked Product of China, the exact same ones that you can get at Walmart for $8 a pound. There was no indication of that on the Key West website. Had I known that I would not have ordered them because I never buy foreign caught or processed seafood. I am paying $75 shipping to have seafood shipped to me and I expected to be fresh. I would not have purchased any of the mahi that I have received from Key West Seafood had I first seen it in a seafood market.

Excellent place for fresh seafood. I got there a bit late in the day, so selections were slim, but still got my fillets. Prices were reasonable too.

Hi my name is Kent Lumpkin I am a owner of a small Business my girl called key West seafood to see if they had crabs but since we were right there across the street from the I walk then as well as she was on the phone they told her they didn't have any crabs but Eric sold me five dozen of crabs I sell seafood to the community last night on April 15th I purchased 5 dozens of crabs from key West seafood I went 4 minutes up the road to my location and before I can unload my cooler two dozen of dead crabs already. I chalked it up as because I had ice on top so I proceeded to cook those and prepare those and lo and behold the crabs was completely empty so they have been dead for a while and I was scared to serve them to my customers because I didn't want to get anyone sick I tried to call the store they was closed I posted the crab at 5:30 they close at 6:00 I waited until the next morning called and spoke with an individual that claimed to be a manager and proceeded to tell him exactly what happened and he stated that they don't sell bad product I told them that I was a first-time customer and had no reason to even lie and that I was shocked 125 that I initially spent up as a loss and then begin to explain to him that that was bad customer serviceafter seeing that he wasn't going to compensate me or even try to rectify the situation I gave up I am more hurt and disappointed than anything I will take the 125 as a loss but you should not be selling crabs or claiming that they're alive to people and they are not that is a health hazard and if you do purchase any seafood from them I suggest that you as a customer check your product before you leave the store. I’m not sure of his new ownership or complete new staff but this place is not the same. I’ve been going for the past four days to get some soup which would be usually be done by 12 o’clock maybe 1230. I’ve been coming to this place for over seven years by the way. And today that they do have a soup, I wait my turn on the 3 person line and then the young lady decides to take care of two other people that came in after me. Claiming they had been there 10 minutes ago, so I guess me going there for the past four days and them not having the soup did not count. 10 minutes versus four days. I wonder if it would’ve been that white couple waiting for four days trying to get the soup would have been skipped the way I was.I hope I’m not offending anyone, but I had to say it.

Tonight I was introduced to Mutton ‘King’ snapper from #KeyWestSeafoodCo and it was absolutely delicious! Fresh, flavorful, and meaty, I loved it! Looking forward to stone crabs claws tomorrow for dinner. TY! Keep up the good catchin!!
