The beat brunch in the bay. Great great menu and drinks. Great atmosphere outside people watching. Feels like what dtsp used to be.

Awesome local restaurant, great food. We visit occasionally over past few years and always impressed. Last Sunday they short staffed with 1 waitress on duty... and had better service than many restaurants here. So busy and still so pleasant.

I wanted to take a moment to share some feedback because this is a restaurant I truly love and visit often.

First, I want to say that your biscuits and gravy are absolutely the best by far. They are the main reason I continue coming back. I genuinely look forward to them, and no other place compares, which is why I remain a loyal customer.

That being said, I feel the restaurant consistently falls short in one important area: food temperature. On multiple occasions, I have had to send my food back because the gravy was not hot. On my most recent visit, my bacon was also served lukewarm. I chose to eat it as-is that time because it becomes tiring to repeatedly send food back when it should be right the first time.

Additionally, there have been instances where we had to send back cups because they had an oily residue from the dishwasher. I mention this only because I care about the overall experience and want to see the restaurant maintain the high standards I know it is capable of.

When I pay for my meal, I expect it to be served hot or at least at a reasonable temperature when it reaches my table. Everything else about this restaurant is wonderful, which makes this issue stand out even more.

I hope this feedback is received in the spirit it’s intended. I truly love this place and want to continue enjoying it for a long time.

Thank you for taking the time to read this.

My best,
Lorenzo Guerrero

We picked up an old friend and had lunch there. We ate outdoors and it was very nice. My wife and I had Reuben sandwiches and she had the french fries which were very good and I had the very good coleslaw as a side. Our friend had eggs benedict and enjoyed it.

If you look for a healthy breakfast, avoid this place. Very heavy and unhealthy food combinations in their menu. I could not even find simple oatmeal or steamed veggies in their menu.
Offering healthier choices would show care for the community, not just the bottom line.

Hallo Nada

Ordered omelet at 10:53 am. Just got it at 11:43 am. Cold. No toast, just bread.
Server not so nice. Said she didn’t know why kitchen didn’t bring out.

I love the food and how there's a bit of fun made towards crazed Jesus people.

We used to be regulars and genuinely enjoyed Stella’s, which makes this extra disappointing. A server spilled hot coffee onto my thigh and it caused a painful burn that stung for over a few hours.

What bothered me most was the response: it took about 15 minutes for a manager to even engage, the incident report took around 20 minutes to complete, and I was offered an ice pack (not appropriate burn first aid). We were still required to pay the bill, with only a partial comp.

I emailed management afterward and never received any follow-up. Accidents happen—how a business handles them is what matters. Unfortunately, this experience felt dismissive and careless, and it cost them a customer.

Just to add I also messaged the owner Barbara Banno who also decided to read ignore my message about this. What a shame.
