Trini Delight Caribbean Cuisine and BBQ

I was craving carribbean food and searching for highly rated restaurants. This was the only restaurant open with ratings I was satisfied with. The food was good and flavorful and the owner was kind, but I can only give a 3 star rating due to the fact the owner had very dirty fingernails and appeared to be handling food without gloves and a mask. I was leary to eat the food, but had drove quite far and paid a significant amount. I ended up reheating everything when I got home, so hopefully any potential bacteria, etc... that could be transferred from dirty fingernails was eliminated. I'm big on good sanitary practices and for those reasons I will not return.

The food is really tasty but the portion sizes are really small for the high prices. Best Trini food in St Pete.

This business may not look like much from the outside, but the food is absolutely fantastic! I tried the roti (goat) and j*** pork (with cabbage, rice and beans, and curried potatoes) for my first visit there and it was all made with all the love & care you’d expect when getting a top-notch home meal! The staff is extremely courteous and strives to deliver their best. I must say I especially enjoyed the roti and, in my experience, find it to be the best I’ve had in the Tampa Bay area - perfectly spiced, over-stuffed, and delightful (each bite beckoned the next!). If you’re a fan of Caribbean cuisine, do yourself a favor and try this place out! Be sure to bring cash as that is the only form of payment they currently accept.

First time customer! I came here not knowing what to expect and craving some good Caribbean food. Oh man, did they deliver!!! I LOVE the oxtail and my husband love the stewed beef! It was one of those dishes where it was so good, it had you licking your fingers and wanting more. For sure we are coming back!

The food is amazing so are the owners. Always asking if we want to try something new. Explaining everything you have questions about. Family recipes from the Caribbean brought to life here in Gulfport. Definitely would recommend them for you to try something new

Roti was so tasty!! Dhal puri was made to order, doubles was fresh too! And homemade sorrel, legit doesn't get better! Sean was so hospitable, and made sure we were taken care of! I will absolutely be back, the food was so authentic and delicious ?? the chats & laughs with the cook as she made my doubles, felt like I was in my aunty kitchen ?

Must be real classy clientele. Just was noticed some piece of garbage tried to use my bank card info there.... and I'm no where near Florida. Classy .... thieves. Break off and float away Florida. We working people won't miss the garbage.

It’s really good! Give them a try just for the Macaroni pie, which is awesome. Also, the homemade hot sauce is magic. We will absolutely be back time and again.

My girlfriend and I discovered this for some late night eats, we were met with tremendous service and a wonderful meal. Looking forward to eating here again!

Food was exquisite, very flavor Enriched, and good quantity. Will definitely be ordering more!
