CAO Bakery & Cafe

I when there today for a first time I live in Hallandale Beach was a pleasure never know this place exists good to have it 😊

CAO is good and they have good selection of food and sweets but sometimes you'll find yourself waiting a bit to be attended because there's always a good bit of people ordering. Although not a bad thing, there's not enough people working at this location and I've seen some people not being satisfied. But overall good place and decent quality.

Kid-friendliness: Small place no actual kids area.

Wheelchair accessibility: No automatic doors but there's always the drive through.

Be careful pulling into the side street entrance there's a big damaging pothole that you don't see when it's raining that fills with water that will damage your car

A total disaster, really, the girls at night, if you're not a gringo, they don't serve you well and give you something else.

Hoy 6 de diciembre de 2024 vengo por el drive tru a desayunar como lo hago de costumbre, y le digo a la señora que quiero comprar 4 croquetas de jamón pero que estén acabadas de freír y la señora me dice con muy mala forma que las que ya están fritas es la que me va a dar y le digo que No que las que voy a pagar son las acabadas de freír. Ella me dice que no me las va a freír. Si yo soy el cliente y no me gustan socatas porque las tengo que pagar así. Luego entro a poner la queja con el manager y no estaba, me atendió otra persona que dijo que estaba a cargo. Yo le expliqué lo sucedió pero en ningún momento quedé complacida con su explicación. Hasta cuando tenemos que soportar que no seamos atendidos como nos merecemos. No lo recomiendo. Espero que el manager tome acción y eduque a sus trabajadores a tener un mejor trato con los clientes que son los que mantienen el bakery funcionando.

Everything is so delicious. Coffee, food, pastries. And everyone is so helpful! All at a great price! Highly recommend!

Today I went to the store in Hallandale Beach...The service is great but the food is horrible. I bought beef pastelitos, cheese pastelitos and Colombian Beef pastelitos. The cheese on the cheese pastelitos were sour, meaning that they were 2 days old. The beef pastelitos were cold like coming out of the refrigerator and the Colombian Beef pastelitos couldn't be eaten. It is a shame that a copy like that has a lack of quality control. Under these circumstances and after this bad experience it will be improbable to come back. I hope they do something about it and improve on the food quality.

Place was dirty, not many options and the empanadas were not good compared to other locations. It doesn't feel fresh made, not going back.
