The protocols were all in place which was appreciated. We were greeted at the door with warm welcome and were seated with no waiting. Our server was right there with suggestions for drinks and appetizers. We ordered ravioli with a side of Italian sausage and the suggested crab cakes. Omg! The crabcakes were freshly made from scratch and were delicious. The ravioli was also handmade and were greatly enjoyed. The sausage was a generous serving. Do not be afraid of this charming restaurant's exterior. It is a hidden gem!

We stopped here after wasting 2 hours at Capones and not even getting water served to us, stopped at Flanigans but another one hour wait so we left since it was almost 9pm. Pulled into Carinis, got seated right away, water and wine on the table in minutes....food was great, service was excellent!!! They saved the night....

Found this restaurant and went for some Italian dishes. We ordered an eggplant parmesan with pasta and a meatballs calzone and half dozen garlic rolls. My dish was Thick dough- huge calzone. The outside was nice but the inside was way too too too creamy. The flavor was overpowered by the excessive amount of ricotta and Parmesan cheese. I hardly tasted the meatballs. It wasn't bad just too much cheese. On the bright side the garlic rolls were very tasty and tomato sauce was excellent, it complemented our food.
