Cilantro Asian Bistro in Hallandale

I've decided to eat something in the evening and I was craving sushi. So I went to this nice Asian restaurant. The people who work there are nice and friendly. They make you feel like home. Jason was my server. He asked me what I wanted to eat. I took my time to choose and Jason was very patient with me. While I was waiting for my food, I looked at the decore. It was beautiful. A couple of minutes later my food was brought to me. The miso soup was nicely cooked. I also ate shrimp shumi and chicken teriyaki bento box. Although for dinner it came with a tuna roll, Jason was kind enough to change it to a California roll instead since I like that one better. Once I was done, I was ready to get the check. Jason brought me what I needed. He was also very friendly to talk to and recommended me some places to visit in Florida. So if you are new to here and want a nice place to eat, please don't hesitate to stop by here. You won't regret it.

Lived in sunnyisles beach for 6 years. And this is the best sushi restaurant out here near the area! Everything tasted so fresh and the rolls are big! And really good quality! Service was also really kind and fast! Will be coming back!

Came in hoping for an Asian flavor explosion. Left feeling like I got sucker-punched by a soggy California roll. 😩🍥

The Sushi:
If you're a fan of room-temperature mystery fish wrapped in sadness, you’re in luck! I took one bite and started hearing the Titanic theme song in my head. 🎻🐟💀

The Noodles:
Ordered Pad Thai. Received something that looked like spaghetti having an identity crisis. 🍝😭
Flavor? Somewhere between cardboard and regret.

The Service:
Waited so long I started Googling “how to meditate while hungry.” 🧘‍♂️⌛
Our server had the enthusiasm of a houseplant on life support. 🌿⚰️

The Decor:
Trendy Asian fusion... if “fusion” means IKEA clearance aisle meets forgotten karaoke bar. 🎤🪑
Ambiance was perfect for a hostage negotiation. 🙃🔦

Final Touch:
They forgot my drink. Twice. So I just drank my own tears. 🥲🍹

Final Thoughts:
If you’re into overpriced confusion with a side of disillusionment, Cilantro is your spot.
I came in hungry. I left emotionally unstable.

I had an amazing meal at Cilantro Asian Bistro in Hallandale Beach, and I’m still thinking about it! This cozy spot serves up big flavors in a laid-back, friendly setting.

I started with a warm, comforting bowl of pho broth that was beautifully seasoned and packed with fresh herbs, green onion, and bean sprouts. Simple, fresh, and so soothing — the perfect way to begin any meal.

The star of the show was my main dish: a colorful stir-fry with shrimp and mixed vegetables in a rich, slightly spicy sauce. The shrimp were plump and juicy, and the veggies — especially the eggplant and bell peppers — were cooked to perfection. Served with a fluffy bowl of jasmine rice, this dish was bursting with flavor and balance.

The ambiance is clean and inviting, the portions are generous, and the service was welcoming without being rushed. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, Cilantro Asian Bistro is the kind of place that makes you feel at home and keeps your taste buds happy.

Love this restaurant beautiful location, the food is amazing and delicious, I just wish they would close at least at 11 or 11:30 on Fridays and weekdays my family love the food we drive from Sunny isles just to come over there, the customer service could be better but it's ok, but I definitely recommend this place.

ordered tom yam, it was so sour that it was impossible to eat! instead of removing it from the check, because we didn't like it and we didn't even touch it, the waiter decided to give a discount on it, is that okay? I think not. Sushi is not the best in life. so my experience is negative unfortunately

The food was good, just like during my first visit. However, this second time will unfortunately be my last. The waiter who served me was clearly intoxicated — every time he spoke to me, the smell of alcohol was strong and unpleasant. It made the whole experience very uncomfortable and disappointing. It’s a shame, because the place has potential, but the service completely ruined it. I do not recommend this restaurant.

This location food was not like Davie. I ordered uber eats gluten free pad Thai and the meal had no pad Thai sauce. It was like oil and noodles with chicken. I called and May told me to contact Uber and that there’s no pad Thai sauce gluten free. The Davie location makes the sauce for the pad Thai. Such a disappointment. Uber gave me a uber credit of $5.

Delicious food and amazing customer service.

Food was mid! The double decker sushi roll was good, and so was the drunken noodles. Everything else was mediocre. Server was nice and kid friendly.
