When it comes to customer service at the Hallandale location 0/10. I called today 2/7/26 @ 8:50 and each time a person picked up and hung up on me. When I did get a person, she said it would take an hour and 30 minutes for my food to be OK, I guess she was hoping that I’d say “no” but the moment I said I was OK with it she put me on hold and then hung up the phone. I truly hope that the Management staff is fully aware that The individuals who were picking up the phone are hanging up on customers when it comes close to 9 o’clock. If the restaurant closes at 10 o’clock, then have a policy that calls should not be accepted after nine and shut your phone lines. Don’t continue to hang up in a person’s face and tell lies. Absolutely unprofessional and a horrible representation of a decent Haitian restaurant.

I brought my husband here for a lunch date and let me tell you I was NOT disappointed by any means. The hospitality and food was amazing!! 🤩 Thank you Cherí.

Man listen here…. This place is everything. I’m Haitian so it takes a lot for a Haitian restaurant to impress me. On the weekends, there’s a DJ which makes every thing even better. So all in all this place was a perfect 10! Christine was our server and provided excellent fast service.

I ordered the salmon pasta, which is not a cheap meal at all, and it was served very hot in a STYROFOAM plate. That is incredibly CHEAP and DANGEROUS, especially for wet, saucy food. Styrofoam is not meant for that kind of wet heat.

I don’t understand why they can’t use hard plastic containers. This is a SERIOUS health concern. My uncle got sick after eating their chemical styrofoam food. We are currently talking to lawyers ready to take his health case.

This place is amazing! Food was delicious! I came for my mom’s birthday and Wilda, the manager, was super nice and warming!! She was able to accommodate a really big party which made the experience even better! Our waiter Wessa was also super nice! Definitely would recommend this place to others

Service was great, we came in for a party of 16 and our server Wesna provided our every need. The food was delicious, for a traditional meal I would recommend the Legume, sos pra and white rice. And who could forget the magnificent macaroni. This is about my 5th time coming here and I would recommend Greg’s cookout to everyone!
