This place right here is my favorite Haitian restaurant! Now that their Miami location has closed, I still make the commute here to get my fix. They have all the classic dishes, from griot all the way to lalo on Thursdays. You must dine in if you can. The staff is so welcoming and nice. The food presentation is immaculate. If you're a fan of mac and cheese, you must try the mac. Please be patient, as the food is very fresh and may take some time to come out. But just vibe to the Haitian music while you wait, and you'll be okay.

I did not want to finish eating the food so I could have leftovers for later! You can taste the love and passion cooked in to the food by the owner himself. My mother from Orlando and myself from NH, we were on the hunt for some authentic Haitian food in Miami. The waitresses are very polite, attentive and catering. The food was delicious. It was also an honor to dine in and support a Haitian restaurant. I told the waitress I want to go in the kitchen and give the chef a kiss on the forehead. Merci

We tried it out because I knew of a Bahamian restaurant that was here before ,the food is tasty but the portions are not worth the price at all.

We ordered the grio but the meat was more fat than meat .

Stopped in while in Miami after googling Haitian restaurants. The food in the reviews looked really good, so we decided to give it a try. I'm so happy that we did! When we pulled up to the address, I wasn't sure they were open because the windows are tinted so it looked dark and there was not any signage except on the door but luckily they were in fact open. We were greeted by a beautiful and very nice hostess and seated promptly, who was also our waitress. I ordered the oxtail dinner, the oxtails were tender and very flavorful, I could drink the oxtail gravy by the gallon it was so good! I also ordered the fresh passion fruit juice which was also very good. The customer service and atmosphere was also on point. The restaurant was very clean and the staff were very attentive; different staff members stopped by the table to make sure we were okay. 10/10. I highly recommend. This is a new stop whenever I'm in Miami.

You can always tell when the chef greg dont make the food. Plantains just dont fried and taste the same. After telling my friend how good the food is. I was disappointed

It’s always a pleasure eating at Greg’s Cookout in Hallandale Beach. Food is consistently amazing, which keeps us coming back, the atmosphere is surprisingly pleasant. Now with the addition of Janine, it’s truly a breath of fresh air from a friendliness speech. So overall the food, the atmosphere, the friendliness and the consistency are the staple of this location.
