I go to Il Mercato every time I’m in Hallandale (a few times a year). They never fail to deliver. Delicious Italian home cooked food. A very cozy interior or a small exterior courtyard dining. The wait staff have been with them since years and they are efficient, friendly and attentive.The food is always on the mark, delicious tomato sauce to accompany the dishes, fresh pasta for some of the plates.Be sure to ask about the daily menu. I have seen this restaurant so many times, which is hidden between Petsmart and Publix, and only recently I managed to have dinner here. And this is an insanely delicious meal prepared by a wonderful woman chef.
