Food and service were excellent. The singer was a litle loud and made it difficult to have a conversation.

Dining at Matteo's is always a consistent and enjoyable experience. Service is always good, food also always outstanding. We love the large portions and therefore able to share dishes. Have been dining here for over twenty years and look forward to each new visit. Never disappoints.

Enjoyed my return to Matteo's, it's been remodeled since I was last there, much better service and much more attention to detail, manager onsite, very personable, Live music was a big plus, enjoyed it very much, will be back!

I have to say, the first few times I went I was very disappointed, what i ordered did not match the NY equivalent HOWEVER we ordered a bunch of different dishes we would typically not get from NY and it was phenomenal. Do get the veal picata, penne Ala Vodka, Muscles with White wine sauce, Chopped Salad. Do not get the baked clams, veal parm, Caesar salad, their red sauce, if you're used to the NY equivalent you'd be disappointed... one of the thing we would steer clear away from is any dish with melted mozzarella cheese on top they use this really cheap cheese that like sticks to the roof of your mouth and it is just barely melted and not broiled as you'd expect...

I've been here on many occasions, and never had an issue. Yesterday's experience was so poor, it will be a very long time, if ever I return. We went very early on Sunday evening for dinner, and after we placed our order and received appetizers, we were told that the special we ordered was no longer available. 5:30 and no longer available?? Why is it on special board? Then we were told Pappardelle no longer available. This is a signature dish on menu and not available?? Waiter convinced my wife to order Rigatoni with clams and shrimp. There were 2 clams and one shrimp and the pasta was terrible. Actually uneatable. (Just to be transparent, we were not charged for that meal) my wife had not eaten dinner. And the most disappointing part was when I told owner/Mgr, he dismissed my concerns and stated they run out of dishes. Not the answer I was hoping for. Plus btw, we ordered spinach , which we never received. They really missed the beat. Will definitely reconsider returning....

The moment we walked in we were greeted like we have been there a hundred times even though it was our first. The service was amazing. Nina made us so comfortable. Their stuffed mushrooms and mussels in wine sauce were some of the best I have had in South Florida. The entrees of Chicken Marsala and Papardelle Cristina were out of this world. If you are looking for the best Italian food in South Florida, come here. I would love to be proven wrong. Enjoy.

Incredible experience and Sergio was a fabulous server. We loved the summer dining menu because it enabled us to try and share more menu items as a couple. The chopped salad and baked clams were well prepared, and the chicken parm and the bolognese were fantastic.

It's always a great dining experience at Matteo's the atmosphere is upscale. You are treated as family and greeted with a warm welcome and they truly are happy to see you. The wait staff have big smiles and are very attentive to your needs. I would give it the highest rating allowed as I've never had an off night there. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!!!!

At first the restaurant caught our attention, and we decided to give it a try. Right from the very start things began to crumble. Slow, careless, even rude service which made us feel unappreciated as patrons. Then the food, OMG. Dismal quality and outrageously priced. Chicken milanese was over cooked, burned, and tasted like crisco oil. complete disappointment. Don't fall for this place.

MIC DROP...Literally! First Impressions are the best! Everything was perfect! The live music, the food, the vino, the staff, Everything! We came here after a funeral for dinner to cheer us up, and it worked. We all left here in a better mood. Keep up the great work and we'll see you soon! God Bless.

Stinks so bad outside on the porch.

Matteo's is THE PLACE we go to when vactioning in Hollywod Beach. The ambiance, service and food is outstanding. Highly recommend this resturant. It's fantasitc!
