Pollo Tropical

Of all the restaurants in this chain, this is the most tasteless place, I can't understand it, it's the second time I bought chicken, it smells like something incomprehensible, I'll never come here again, but overall I really like this restaurant chain.

The food there serving does not match there advertised food .people constantly complaining not right amount of food with all the post and complaints things dont change something is not right to me the problem is not the stores is the corporation you call them they do nothing this business has gone down in quality no longer what it was went back to eat all the employees including the managers confirm that the problem is the corporate pollo tropical is no longer how they served the managers say we dont give was on the pictures anymore all stores are saying they are misleading costumers and some times is to the point of 2 pieces of chicken on a Tropichop and the line is held of people protesting one manager compare Macdonald you don’t get what’s on the pictures wish is not true and that pollo tropical was open 2021 when my daughter was 17 all she ate was that now she 37 pollo tropical opened 1988 not 3 years ago

I have been to this place 4 times after a long time they don’t give you the right portion of food like it shows in the menus they take wrong orders and they had people complaining about not having enough food on there plate while am waiting for my food in the mean time an employee walked up to Oder her food one employee said no come here and served her the right portion and before me and I still kept waiting some more after that this place needs correction it keeps happening often with everyone my son quit going same problem went back gave me a complete wrong oder again lacking the amount the manager went ahead and fix the order and it doesn’t change

Ordered on line forgot an item and there was a insect in the order . I called corporate they said to wait 24 hours makes no sense. I order 130 worth of food which no one could eat. This makes no sense and they forgot an item .

It was my first time and I will definitely be back.
The girl who took the order was helpful and explained me the different options.
Plantains were AMAZING! tastes like home made at a Cuban restaurant
She included all the sauces without me asking

The worst service of all the times I have gone, a young man with braids served me, I was waiting for half an hour and he did not even deliver my order so that it could be prepared, they talk and shout about your food without a mask, terrible hygiene, I do not plan to go again

Annoyed With Order and Time
First off the drive through young lady Michael was very nice order #702844 10/19/2024 10:34pm. I was going to order from the Miller ale house since I lost my contacts and couldn't drive on the main road till Monday when I could get new contacts. I see 2200 without them. (Legally blind without them). I figured hey Pollo is around the corner from me should take me 1 minute to drive there and 5 minutes to walk. Not only did I not get what I originally wanted. Instead I was charge for a plate of brown rice. I made sure to order the extra protein $5.00 and ask for everything veggie wise on it. Of course it seems that I said give me a plate full of brown rice hold my money for the protein and send me home with dry food I gave to my dog when I saw it. I was livid open up a can of Cambell's soup for dinner and worked till 9am Sunday. The purpose of leaving your house when you are were not suppose to drive was convenance Then to call customer service who was nice also. Which was the principle to give me the extra money back. Since my dog was given the food I didn't want a refund for that. I am a principles person. Now I have to jump through hopes baby sit my phone waiting corporate to inform me if I get and when I can get the difference back. Now I see why there are so many scammers out there that would have wanted all their money back for the inconvenience on a darn Sunday. Advise I don't care if you hold up the line look at your order screw their order time. The run around you get for something you are owed because someone decided not to read and waste your Sunday on the phone. Pissed me off to leave this review. I rather give the money to the soup kitchen that I donate to feed 100 homeless during the holidays yearly. What I like is you can pick to feed 1 and up if you can afford it. It's the thought that counts. I rather feed homeless then let them keep my money. Corporate restaurants and brick and mortar stores are shutting down life and right filily bankruptcy. If you can't take the 1 minute to make sure a persons order is right. You will be next shutting down locations like everyone else in America!

Honestly it used to ve betteryears ahí. Portions where more generous and less bounty chicken.
I jnowots of ppl that live to go there, I'm not crazy about beens and rice... LOL Service is slow at out site, and there is no atmosphere in there, they should have some good Spanish music and tv with dancing channels. Hahaha

Kid-friendliness: Yes, kids are welcome but there are no areas to entertain kids inside or outside.

Wheelchair accessibility: All stores have easy access for Handycaped.
