I blame the demise on the wolves who managed the once legendary establishment into bankruptcy. Now we have to drop our standards and eat bagels a step above Lenders.

Place was horrible, one the cashier was very rude and didn't want to help, I paid almost 60 for some food that taste like doo-doo. First time and last time never will I go back and I see why they close. Terrible service.

Went by today and sad to say Sage has closed its doors and the store is for lease. The Best Bagels are now History.

Sadly an end of an era..Sage closed last night. I was there today talking to the granddaughter big rent increase and the old man didn't want the family in the business. A true shame they didn't try to sell it!

So terribly disappointing we ate dinner , there is a very depressing area in the back. The brisket sandwich was good but exorbitant at $16.99. Place seems out of the twilight zone, back in the 50's Go for bagels but nothing else. So so sad, old, dated and not enjoyable

Sage has the best NY style bagels made on the premises that I've found in South Florida. Also great smoked fish of all kinds (including belly lox not just nova) and different homemade cream cheese. I never go to the restaurant because I like large portions like the legendary NY delis and they don't normally serve that. Really only downside is cost; probably 20% more than the same thing (if you could get it) anywhere else.

EXTREMELY shocked and disappointed. My wife was sick and could not eat anything but chicken soup for a couple of days. We got some from Boston Market but I suggested that we get the the "real deal", "jewish penicillin" from the place I occasionally go for a bagel. We bought 3 quarts at 10 bucks a piece and got home to discover it was just broth with angel hair noodles. No chicken at all or carrots, onion or celery. Worst soup on the planet. I can't Imagine their $16 sandwiches are any better. Disgarecful.

The pudding is GREAT ! I added some pure maple syrup for an excellent decadent desert ! With a glass of milk. Good service. The young lady at the cash is very cute. Thank you.

Been going here for years. Stopped going a long time ago because the service was terrible. Have given it numerous chances but nothing g changes. Went for the first time in a while and sorry to say the service is still terrible. Walk in, sit down and for 10 minutes nothing besides a bus boy bringing water. Asked one of the 6 waitresses standing around behind e counter if we can get someone. She pointed to the only one who seemed to actually be waiting in tables and said she would be with us in a minute. Another 5 minutes goes by and I ask the same person who was still standing behind the counter if we can get service. Finally the 1 woman who was actually working came to take our order. Bagels are still one of the best in the area but I can't get past the service.

Traditional deli foods, you’ll always get a good meal. This is a local spot for sure. Staff is friendly and Sage has been around for a long time so you know they are doing something right.

Good food. Restaurant was understaffed but they did work hard. A quirk -if you order a side of chopped liver, that's what you get. Crackers or bread with it would make for a better experience. Still have the best bagels around! The guy that cuts the lox is very skilled- he cuts it so thin that you can read a newspaper thru it! But it does taste great

Great food. However not a good spot for a quick bite. It is SLOW but worth it.

My apologies for all the other MANY wonderful bagel shops in FTL and MIA I have tried, but my search is over. Actual thin layer of crisp and crunchy crust surrounding bagel chew with each mouthful a la New York. No contest. Good night. Go home. Full deli and sit down restaurant, but I haven't tried them.

Outstanding deli. Really good food. The service could be faster but it is worth the wait
