I haven't been to this location in a while but it seems like they've taken out all the chairs so you can't sit down anymore ?But otherwise the food is always good and so is the service ?

This place is mid at best. I don't see what all the hype is about. I ordered 1/2 pork chop breakfast. They must've went to Walmart and brought the thin sliced pork chops, because not only was it very thin it was very small, Like common since didn't say because they are so small and thin I'll give the customer 2. No they still served it. The eggs were watery. The grits were grits 1 out of 10 I do not recommend

Listen, I don't need you to tell me you've been in business for 3 decades so please save it! Just fix them darn biscuits. All excited to get into them and it was a crumble mess. I miss the "Old Sonny." With the older generation. This is a hot mess. Won't be back!

My food was great I had salmon crochets the only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because I haven’t been here in a long time and there needs to be a menu board there’s one in the window but you barely notice it’s there tbh even paper menus to read on the side would be great everyone is not a regular please have menus to read for the new customers

This community mom and pop spot is the bomb the guy who runa it is such the cool person. Anytime i stop by which is more often than not these days for those SLAP YO MAMA FRESH AND HOT BISCUITS with dollop of apple jelly perfectly sanwiching the 2 halves. I love it here. Its NEVER a long wait and they are always pleasant when serving me. I had the mystery drink for the first time ever. It was quite tasty though not at all what i was expecting. I guess i was in the moos for something a smidget for tart but i wasnt disappointed. I will have the half breakfast with bacon or the complete breakfast with salmon croquets. Its all DELICIOUS!!!!

I called and waited 10 minutes to just place an order which no one came to the phone. But I heard them taking multiple orders for walk in guest! Then once I tried calling back the phone was now busy!!! It’s 2023 we should have enough stuff to cover both!!!
What a great old school 'order and go' hidden gem! We're from out of town, had to get a tire fixed and looked for a food spot. Walked over, ordered and off we went. I'm a southern boy from Georgia and they had some of the best biscuits I've ever had in my life. Keep doing what you do!

Sonny's is an institution in Hallandale Beach. If you want an authentic southern breakfast, this is the place to go. They are known for their biscuits, and you can order breakfast in a bunch of different ways. I ordered the 1/2 breakfast and it was very filling, served with 1 egg, 1 biscuit, grits, and 1/2 order of bacon was still 4 slices. After I ordered, I noticed you can get corn beef hash as your meat. I can't wait to come back and try that. Lots of the reviews mention long lines and waits, and I do see where the line forms. That said, if you come during the week, it is an easy in and out. Everything is made to order, but was still in and out in 10 minutes. Highly recommend.
