Yard House

Deidra at the Hallandale location was out server. She immediately came to the table to get our drinks and we also ordered nachos. We never saw her again for 40 mins and we had to call for the manager. She totally forgot about my family and I. She was called to the table and admitted, she forgot. How embarrassing to say the least. She should not be waiting on tables, ruined our experience for the night. Will not return to this location, just out of words.

The food and atmosphere at Yard House were excellent. The menu had great options, everything we ordered was well prepared, and the overall vibe of the restaurant was lively and enjoyable.

Unfortunately, the service significantly took away from the experience. Our server appeared visibly displeased from the start, and her demeanor noticeably worsened once we mentioned that our party would be splitting the bill. From that point on, she was not friendly, did not smile, and made us feel like an inconvenience rather than guests.

Because of the service we received, I would not return to this location, which is disappointing given how much we otherwise enjoyed the food and atmosphere.

If you are planning to grab a quick bite at the Yard House in the Golf Stream (Hollywood, Florida) stay as far as you can from this place. The waiter did not even say “hello” when he came to serve us after 15 min of waiting for him. He brought my lemonade and did not bring my husband’s beer. We had to ask another waiter to bring his beer. The service was terrible, the food was cold and the salad was old. After all this disappointment we called the manager and he didn’t even gave us a discount on our bill for this colosal disaster of a restaurante . He just apologized a million times and gave us two cards, for the value of $25 each. Like if we would even care to go there again. Honestly, I thought he was being sarcastic. Because with a bad experience like this he shouldn’t have even charged us.
You’re better off at Mc Donald’s than in this dump.

Had gone to a yard house in Los Angeles many years back so was excited to come by to the Aventura location for a lunch with my girlfriend on a Friday afternoon.

Ordered filet mignon 8 oz (around $45) rare, was served well done. Sent it back and received another identically over cooked piece of meat. Whatever.

Later that night, my significant other and I both got food poisoning. We concluded it was due to the chicken tenders we ordered that were mushy and undercooked.

Overall, someone has to check in with the chefs there because seems like there’s some real issues with food quality for a place of this caliber lol

We went out with friends for dinner after picking them up from the airport. After we were seated, a waitress cleaning out the table behind us flipped her full tray of drinks and my husband and I ended up soaked with beer and other liquids. My shoes were ruined, my handbag was sticky, my husband's shirt was soaked and I was afraid he'd catch a cold. The waitress was apologetic, but the night was ruined. They even didn't change our table although the floor under us was wet and dirty. The manager Dante decided to come out half way thru our dinner and everything he had to say was sorry that happened. He didn't want to make things right, to comp the dinner, or offer to take off the cocktail and a glass of wine we had at the table. No consideration of the ruined Friday night dinner. Instead, he offered to bring him the dry cleaner bill he would reimburse... Who in his right mind will go back to beg for dry cleaner reimbursement. On top of that, we live 40 miles away. That Dante guy was pathetic. We'll never go back.
