A quaint little “hole in the wall” restaurant that makes some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. This is one of Havana, Florida’s little gems, located across the NAPA store and right next to the Marathon gas station headed towards Quincy on Highway 267/12.My grandmother always made the best Cole slaw, and the only other I will eat is Sonny’s. Well, I can attest their Cole slaw is almost identical to grandma’s recipe. Took me right back to younger years and happy memories.If you haven’t tried this restaurant, GO!And dang, their peach cobbler is amazing!MmmmmmmParking: This is a pull-up-and-park along the grass in a little parking lot. No fancy asphalt, just sand - but oozing with charm and lots to look at. They even have picnic tables that are great when it’s spring or fall.Kid-friendliness: There are so many Knick knacks and memorabilia that any kid will be occupied looking at everything!
Great barbecue pet friendly. I know it's the times let's disappointed about the size of the protein. And the sides to me are a little sweet but for the South they're probably perfect. Though for most people the quantity of the protein is probably perfect I'm just very picky, and I do know a couple of barbecue places that give a lot more. I do strongly recommend and it's even out of my way and I'm more than happy to go there. The only true displaying part was the sauce, I prefer a good vinegar spicy sauce.
Casual atmosphere. Food was excellent. Prices are fair. Service was very good! staff was friendly! Recommend to friends of family

This is one of those places you know the food is going to be amazing when you drive by (I had already eaten but could not pass up on grabbing their ribs for dinner and glad I did). The atmosphere was amazing with screened porches to keep bugs away and other decor the lovely owners have collected thru the years, fall off the bone ribs and chili were out of this world (tried all their sauces and can't go wrong with any of them) made my day when ribs were wrapped seperate from my garlic toast which was still fluffy when I got home. I'm glad I found this hidden gem and will be back for that sold-out banana pudding!

I was going to get three sandwiches and a large beans, but then they wanted to charge me a fee to use my credit card. They lost a sale of $40 over a 3% fee. If a merchant accepts credit cards, the fees are a cost of doing business.

I have been working out in the heat non stop so elected on just trying a large pork sandwich to not over do it and it was absolutely delicious! Will have to come here on a day when I have a bigger appetite and try the ribs or brisket because I'm sure it's amazing as well. I got the Memphis sweet BBQ sauce and it's one of my favorites now. Also, the lady who waited on me was very pleasant! Thanks for a great lunch!
