Must say, I was rather disappointed with my experience after reading the reviews.

The restaurant was completely dead on a Saturday night, we were the only people in the restaurant, and service was still very slow. We were there for about 15 minutes before we saw our server, 10 more before we got our drinks, and a half hour before we got our appetizer. They were definitely over staffed for the three of us and still have terrible service.

The food was okay, definitely not light on the salt, and the seafood seemed a bit fishy, which led me to believe it was old.

The meal was very over priced as well. Have gotten this same meal in several other Thai spots in the area for about half the price.

This spot is a skip from me.

Decided to try this restaurant for magical dining. Nothing special or memorable about the food or service.
For the appetizers:
Egg rolls - below average; I've had better egg rolls at any other Chinese restaurant
Coconut shrimp - decent
Edamane - average
For the entree:
I had the Bangkok beef and have had better beef, rice and vegetables at any other run of the mill Chinese restaurant
For the dessert:
Thai crepe - not good
Sticky rice - disgusting; the rice was warm and not sweet at all. Tasted like the same rice served with the entree.
For the service, there was no staggering of the food. The entree came out less than 10 minutes after the appetizer. No attempt by the staff to remove any plates to make room for the new plates. Had to ask for extra napkins at least 3 times before any were brought out. Restaurant was definitely not busy for a Saturday night and I can see why. I would not recommend and will not return.

Laila was a great waitress! Smiling, attentive & making recommendations. The best duck I’ve ever had! The fried cheesecake was delicious. All our food was delicious! The hostess was not friendly at all!

Excellent food and by far the most spectacular hot oil I've ever had. Staff and owner were very friendly and caring.

I don’t normally like dipping sauce with my coconut shrimp but this was the perfect mix of sweet and savory without being too sweet. The crispy duck is phenomenal and so reasonably priced. Don’t forget the coconut sticky rice for dessert. It ends the meal perfectly. Laila (the server at the bar) Chef Nicky were delightful. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We decided to try The Nine Heathrow Thai Grill & Kitchen because it was part of Magical Dining, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. The service was so-so, but the food was the real letdown — dry, flavorless, and far from what you’d expect at a restaurant highlighted in this program.

This restaurant should absolutely not be part of Magical Dining. Don’t waste your time or your money here — there are far better options in the area.

My friend and I wanted to try this restaurant for Magical Dining. After being seated, someone came over to take our drink order and told us they would be back to take our order after we had an opportunity to look at the menu. Another couple came and was seated beside us shortly after this. They were eating their appetizers, and we were still waiting on our waiter to come take our order. My friend finally had to go say something to someone before we were finally able to order.
The dinner I ordered came with broccoli… according to the menu. I had to ask them to bring it to me, as there was none on my plate. When I finally got the broccoli, it was lukewarm. My friend’s dinner should have come with asparagus, but she received mixed vegetables. According to our waiter, they don’t even serve asparagus at the restaurant. Seriously???? Why would you list it on the menu if it is not an option??
After waiting nearly 30 minutes for them to bring dessert, the crepe, like the broccoli, was lukewarm.
We were told they were understaffed, but by the time we left, there were only a handful of people in the restaurant. I can understand being a bit slower than normal if you are understaffed, but waiting 30 minutes on a dessert is not ok. (The couple beside us had a similar experience with the dessert.)
We arrived at 6:15 and left the restaurant at 8:45. In summary, the service was extremely slow and the food was mediocre at best… definitely not worth the $40 price tag. My friend and I will not be returning, and I will not be recommending to anyone. Wishing we had tried another restaurant!! Very disappointed!

This is not an authentic Thai experience. My khao soi was lazy, and extremely Americanized. Made with spaghetti (instead of traditional rice or egg noodle), thick yellow curry (which they didn’t even attempt to turn into a proper khao soi broth), chunks of white meat chicken (it should be drumsticks), the wrong type of crispy noodles, and raw red onion. Absent were the lime, cilantro, chilis, shallots/scallions, and pickled greens that should come with it. Even in the photo of it on their menu it came with lime and scallions, why didn’t mine come with that? Lame. Took around 20-25 min to get my food even though it was fairly quiet in the dining room.

Nice decor..staff was friendly. Food..mediocre. Definitely not worth the price. Parang curry was served with cold steamed veg on the side..looked like a bland bowl of soup. Super sweet and so much ginger it tasted medicinal. Pad thai was just ok. Ordered hot..received with no spice at all. They brought a variety of dry spices and 2 sauces to help, but no. Wouldn't recommend. Won't return.

We decided to try Nine Heathrow Thai for the first time and unfortunately it will also be our last. We ordered two dinners — for one, we were asked about spice level and clearly said mild. For the other dish, no one asked and the menu didn’t indicate it was spicy. When the food came out, both dishes were extremely spicy and not what we expected.

We sent one back, which they removed from the bill, but the other was barely edible. What made the experience worse was the staff’s attitude — they were not apologetic at all and instead blamed us for the food being spicy, even though we ordered differently.

Disappointing food and poor customer service. We won’t be returning.
