Rick's Restaurant

This location is about 30 mins away from MIA airport. The professionalism and friendliness of the staff was awesome everyone was very helpful.The front desk clerk recognized me as an IHG member and gave me their goody bag and allowed me to check in early. The area this hotel is located is a not the best place but not the worst. They have a breakfast buffet which is pretty tasty with hand squeezed juices. Old hotel with some renovations here and there. Some amenities are nice like the bar, the public use computers, pool area, lobby others need some dire need of renovating like ceilings, lighting, walls, old outlets/switches, single pane windows, old carpeting (at least the room I stayed in). The good - easy access to the airport! Easy access to Doral (great restaurants, places to go out to). Palmetto Expwy is right in front of the hotel and it can take you anywhere. This hotel is used by the Military for persons being seen and screened. They stay here while testing and getting paperwork in order at the processing station. It's fairly new, in a busy area and is basic and comfortable.
