Ever go to a place and wish you could give it more then a 5 star review? I did today when we ate at Limon y Cilantro. We started with the shrimp and cheese empanada...what a delicate, tasty treat! Most empanadas out are never like yours or abuela. We then had the tostones abd chicarones, phenomenal... our entrées were the shrimp Monfongo and the ropa vieja, we were blown away. The freshness and flavors were extraordinary. I see many meals here in the future

Wow! What a great place! The owner is super friendly and hustles to make you feel welcome. Food is phenomenal...one taste explosion after the other. We gad the shrimp and cheese empanadas, followed by the chicarones and tostones...the sauces that accompanied these appetizers were insanely good...the Monfongo, out of this world. Food, presentation and atmosphere was outstanding.

What an amazing lunch! Very happy I was recommended this restaurant by a friend. A few coworkers and myself went here for lunch, everything looked delicious that we all ordered. I ordered the lunch special with pork, rice and soup. The soup definitely opened up my pallet. Extremely savory, balanced and strong flavors. Just the right portion to set the tone of the rest of my meal. The pork I had came sautéed with peppers and onions and was very tender, juicy and had just the right crust. The rice was very flavorful, soft and filled me right up. Followed up with the plantains that were the right sweetness to end my meal. The only reason I didn't take any pictures is because our food didn't sit on our plates for very long. They were prompt with the service, polite and extremely friendly. Was grateful to meet the owners as well after my meal. Amazing husband and wife team that really truly cared about what they were serving. Keeping it local and fresh. Glad to see through all the hardships with covid and lockdowns that there's a great local restaurant thats going strong. I am excited to explore the rest of their menu more and will definitely recommend to anyone I can. Thank you for the awesome hospitality and even better food!

If you're looking for delicious, healthy food in a beautiful restaurant with the loveliest owners, visit Limon & Cilantro. Everything was perfection from the coffee, to the empanadas, mangu, and longanisa. I need to come back to try the queso frito. There's nothing better than leaving a restaurant feeling satiated with quality food prepared with love.

Was there on Saturday night and enjoyed a delicious meal withis meal with karaoke. The mofongo...or trifongo I had with shrimp (combo of green plantains, ripe plantains and yuca) was delicious! I The bandeja combo was delish too...fried cheese, pork, sausage, tostones and more...Under new management and the phone continues to be great. It is a small place in Hialeah but it is a great choice.. Family atmosphere and informal as well.

Wow! This place is amazing!I felt like I walked in to my tia or grandma's house.The customer service is impeccable and the food was delicious. I wish I could have tried more dishes but the portions are HUGE. We tried the mofongo, the parrillada and the chuleta can can.Non of us could not finish.I can not wait to come back.
