I called 3 times to place an order and Yamilka in the cafeteria didn't feel like taking the order, I had to go because I was wasting time taking my information, imagine why I then placed the order over the phone... very bad service from your part, I don't know anyone who has good references about that girl, she hates her life, very bad attitude with the public, I don't know how she still continues to work with the public, the truth is

There is no point in having a variety of food when customer service must understand that if someone sets aside to buy some type of food it is because they can pay for it, therefore they ask the young woman to give me two to three pounds a piece of I didn't want roast pork cut up, I wanted it whole and she told me that it costs about 72 dollars but without weighing it just with my eyes (I just didn't want to look for something to cut the pork with) You think I came 48 minutes to this establishment 3 pounds of roast pork and you tell me that it's going to cost about 72 dollars without thinking about it, it's better to have it rubbed, of course, it's easier for her not to cut the pork, it's a shame, highly recommended by a former mayor and I got a lot of bad surprises, but no I can wait a lot IS HIALEAH....

We get lunch here maybe 2 times a week. Always orde a regular lunch plate, but today I saw they had bowls I tried it it I was very disappointed the tostone was cold and greasy, and it was a little piece of pork steak with dry rice. I'm not sure if maybe I came at the wrong time and that's why the food wasn't fresh to my opnion and liking. I know we might have days you might get a hiccup with the food but we need to be more aware of the hot and freshness would I go back yes they do have good food I guess today I had bad luck on what I ordered

Tremendous rubbish, $40 for a complete two pieces of steak, which were reheated with the air fryer. Bad taste and super dry. They never catch me again.

Basic "comida por libra" type of place with counter service. For the best deal, go with the specials, otherwise make sure to ask for pricing as it won't be posted anywhere. The portions are good albeit heavy on the rice. Attached is the latest Specials Menu. The price has gone up over the years (I remember when it was as low as $4.99).
