“Best Place in Winter Haven for Authentic Mexican Tacos. They give you good portions and the workers are always very friendly and have amazing customer service. Their green sauce is one of the best around. I love their Gorditas stuffed with your choice of either chicken, marinated pork or steak or you can get mix and match and get all 3! Tacos are like 2$ each. Gorditas 3 for 12$. They do take call in orders and are pretty quick with them too.“

“Just left. 1/17/2025. Food is excellent but….service tonight was horrible. Never refilled water glasses, my husband got the burrito and asked for some queso to put over it. The girl brought him shredded cheese! Gave us a container for the guacamole and the wrong lid. In between each request we wondered if our waitress was coming back. Finally brought the bill and once again never came back. We finally took the bill to the front to pay. I love their food but when the service is bad it ruins everything 👎“

I will be a forever client of this establishment due to their high-quality food and how they care about the communities they serve. We volunteer at Bartow Middle School 3-4 days a week. What do the teachers and staff ask us to get when there? The lake house. I do feel like my burrito was kind of small for what I paid for but at the end of the day, the flavor was good and it is a small taco truck. There is a credit card fee, so they prefer cash. Not a big deal. I definitely would say the food here is good to go.“

The first thing that stood out to me was how incredibly affordable everything is. The prices are amazing, especially considering the quality and generous portions you receive. You can truly tell they take pride in their food. Many of their dishes are freshly prepared every day, while other menu items are cooked fresh right when you order, so everything tastes homemade and full of authentic flavor.

The staff was also incredibly kind and accommodating. I had my service dog with me, and because of the Florida heat, they were so understanding and welcoming. They respected that he was working while still making sure we were both comfortable, and that level of kindness meant a lot to me.

Between the delicious authentic Mexican food, fresh ingredients, outstanding value, and genuinely caring customer service, La Rosita's is a hidden gem that deserves all the support. I always get the steak tacos, and for 6 tacos at $5, you can’t beat the value OR the quality. The meat is perfectly seasoned, the portions are generous, and the flavor is consistently on point. No bland, boring tacos here, just authentic, delicious food that keeps me coming back.

“I have nothing but good things to say about this place. First off, I’d been craving GOOD tacos for quite some time. Especially when it comes to barbacoa and lengua. Most restaurants try to pass off a cheaper cut of meat as barbacoa but not here. It was so tender and flavorful! The menudo was perfect. Everything was tender and not chewy. She warned me about the red sauce being very hot but I feel it was the perfect amount of spice for my daughter and I. The piña frescas was nice and refreshing. It wasn’t overfilled with ice. I drove from north Lakeland just to try them and I’m so glad they were open. This is now my favorite Mexican restaurant in Bartow. The customer service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. Can’t wait to try more! Unfortunately I didn’t get many photos because everything was sooooo good. People that know me know how much of a foody I am and this is authentic Mexican food. “Was the perfect venue for our party! The space inside and out is beautiful and clean. The planner and bar staff are super knowledgeable and friendly. We used their house DJ who has a great personality and played great music. They had a looping video playing on a big drop-down projection screen. They worked with us to set up the space to accommodate a 360 photobooth, 100 gift bags, and our vision for people gathering to eat from our on-site food truck! It was the perfect event!“

“So this taco truck replaced the one that was there. I was a little bummed because the old one was amazing. This one has no price tags listed. Thankfully I kept my order small and had enough to cover it. The Goridita was a little small but the filling and the veggies were very fresh. The quesadilla was packed full of cheese and had a nice hand made flour tortilla. The staff was friendly and the truck looked clean. Maybe this isn't the best location for this truck because of what the flea market crowd typically wants to spend on food.“
