They are closed and have been for a while. Got there and had to find a last minute table elsewhere. There is a new place there called Redwood, which was excellent. OpenTable needs to update their list. From now on I will have to confirm with a restaurant whenever I use OpenTable. Don't trust them anymore.

I made a reservation with open table online, and was given a confirmed reservation for two at 7:30 PM foe Wednesday Oct.26. When we arrived, the restaurant was closed. Not the restaurant's fault, but Open Table's fault for not being aware the business was closed, and sending me a confirmed reservation. I will never use your service again

First time in, it was almost a private dining experience since we took a late reservation. The pasta in the cheese wheel preparation was the star of the show. The Squid ink Linguini was perfectly al dente and the wine sauce was very light but and expertly paired.

Andre and the staff at Allegria made this such a special dinner. It is an Italian Dining EXPERIENCE as their restaurant description states. Don’t show up looking for the regular stuff, standard cocktails, or American beer. This is authentic ITALY, and it is amazing. One person in our party even stated that she thought it was the most amazing dinner experience she had ever attended. Andre treated our party of 9 like we were friends and his recommendations were spot on! Do yourself a favor and join Andre for dinner at Allegria in Hollywood FL.

This place is the real deal you guys! If you are looking for an authentic Italian dining experience, the best service and some of the greatest food you’ve ever tasted, Allegria is your spot! Andrei’s service was some of the best that I have ever received, he was very attentive and knowledgeable and helped me pick out my dinner which was AMAZING! We started with the lamb meatballs which were to die for! When I say these things were good, I mean I could have ordered 4 more of just that appetizer alone and been in heaven. Andrei then suggested the Pasta alla forma which sent me overboard with flavor and taste! Having him prepare it table side in the cheese wheel was awesome! It is a beautiful restaurant and everyone there is real nice, it’s a great spot! The chef really knows what he is doing!

Absolutely horrible experience! The restaurant was empty on mothers day [first red flag]. We asked for a piece of extra cheese [that we offered to pay for]. The server went back to ask the chef and we heard the chef laughing and saying "no" in the kitchen. Very bad attitude

Eventhough the food was good, is totally overpriced and very poor costumer service oriented.

Food was great, service was weird. We were the only people in the restaurant. The waitress was good, the waiter was not. We were told they don't use ice because they want to be authentic Italian, they do not offer tap water because they want to be authentic. When the bill came they suggested tipping 2-3 euros, just kidding, here they suggested 18-25%, the American standard... so much for authentic. I hope they read this and change their nonsensical ways because the food was really good. Let me tell you my Italian friends at Allegria, when I go to Italy, in general the people in the service industry did what the could to please the customers and you can get a cold martini.

We went here on a whim on a quiet Wednesday night. The service was great and our waiter was a very nice guy. He pointed out a few things on the menu and made some good recommendations. We shared a Caprese salad. The tomatos were fresh and firm, and the mozzarella was different than what we're used to from the store. It was really nice. The pasta Bolgnese was also very good with just enough of the tasy meat sauce. Our waiter then brought over a cup of their gelato (on him no less) to cap off a wonderful meal. I stopped short of five stars because they only offer bottled water in an effort to promote Italian imports, and though it was reasonable at $4.00, we would've liked the option for good old tap water. This one liitle thing won't keep us away from Allegria, but I thought it worth mentioning.

Disappointed I read reviews and was looking forward to this restaurant. I feel bad for the server who obviously is a family member and was hostess, waitress, busboy, bartender and table side pasta cook. We were first diners for the night and thank goodness we were served most of our food before other diners came because once they came the poor waitress was overwhelmed with no help. The food was subpar and the mussels with spicy red sauce was smelly and we only ate a few. The pasta dinners were just ok and we couldn't order dessert because by then the restaurant had 3 other tables and the server couldn't possibly handle by herself. Pass on this place

Ordered the pasta carbonara.... And read the reviews regarding salt. Let me preface this by saying I love salt (which is why I ignored the reviews); however, this dish was so over salted I had to stop eating after 3 bites. Also, the sauce is like eating a mouthful of flour (why do I taste flour in a carbonara??) . I don't normally leave reviews but for $18 this was extremely disappointing.

We moved from NYC 5 months ago and have been in search for a local authentic Northern Italian restaurant like we had in NY but we were unsuccessful…..until tonight. Allegria scores exceptional in every category. The place is in a word, cozy. From the alfresco dining to the Fiat gelato cart to the mini market.Service was impeccable. Friendly, well informed, prompt and attentive. We had a lovely conversation with the manager who went table to table just as one would expect at a proper dining establishment.Last but certainly not least the food: I mean, spot on.The burratta was creamy and buttery. The calamari tender lightly breaded and perfectly cooked. We spit the pasta “made inside the cheese wheel which was essentially cacio pepe but with the added truffle oil. Remarkable. Our third course was a veal Milanese, a butterflied veal chop breaded covered with arugula, sliced cherry tomatoes and aged parmigiano reggiano cheese. Again, right on point. We will def be coming back to Allegria, again and again.
