This was amazing wood fire cooked steak. You have to taste it to believe because it is that good. The beef quality, the cuts and the wood fire makes it insanely good. If you are a steak lover you have to try it. Be there at 11:00am (that’s when when the steak has had 3 hours to cook). Trust me!

We visit this location at least five or more times a year. If you have a hankering for meat that has been cooked in an open fire, this location is it. Just be clear how you want your meat cooked or the Spanish speaking cooks will just cook it until fully done. The delicious smell and the variety of meats is good enough to attract you from the distance. I think ownership has changed hands, the original owners were truly folks that came from that specific region in Colombia, where the cowboys would cook succulent meat and cook potatoes, plantains and arepas in the open fire. There is something about open fire cooking that gives everything a very special flavor. They would also play Llanero music, further enhancing the ambiance of the place. Today the same idea continues with new owners. The quality of the meats has diminished some, it could be a bit chewy if overcooked. Servers are cordial and friendly, but they could try and bring that original flavor from two to three years back. I would recommend this place for lunch if you are visiting the Yellow Green Market in Hollywood, FL.

I received a recommendation to go. We requested food for two. The Carne a La Vara was good, but the prices were totally exaggerated, practically the same prices of a 5 stars Michellin Restaurant. I do not recommend going. There are a lot of places with the same product and better prices.

We waited around one hour to get our food, and paid $79 dollars for a meal for two. The meat was good but nothing I didn’t tried before. My husband and his friends sometimes bought the picanna and make it at home and it tastes better. I understand inside the yellow green fresh market almost everything is a little over the price but they are just stolen your money.
