I was there with my wife, it was a great atmosphere and a lot of fun, the food was excellent but unfortunately when it came down to the bill, we were really disappointed. I ask the server if the tip was included she said no so I added 20% tip just to find out later that 18% was at to the bill as a Service charge which I know is the same, I was very disappointed because the place is very nice and we enjoy the food. We’re not certain and skeptical about going back, especially after my review:/

Unfortunately, our experience was not good. The food was average, and extremely expensive. We felt robbed. We ordered 1 plate of chicken, rice, beans and plantains. 2 pasteles enhoja and 2 beers and we were charged $88.29. Insane, that they charged us $15.00 for one and added 18% gratuity to our bill without telling us in fact presented a final bill without telling us the tip was already included. We definitely felt robbed and will not be visiting here again.

After viewing a promotion for Ladies Night on Thursdays, a group of us gathered after work for Karaoke and Happy Hour here. We arrived about 7:30 ish and the place was empty. Our group didn’t mind, the weather wasn’t the best and we figured it’s still newly promoted. We were greeted and taken care of by Shanti. Our server was friendly, sweet and polite! We asked about karaoke and made a prior reservation but she said the band equipment would not make it. I recommend calling after 7pm to ensure that it will be available if you are only going for karaoke. Aside from that , the food was delicious! Everything we had tasted great! I highly recommend the chicharrón if that’s your thing. The drink specials were good.. we had lemon drop cocktails and for ladies night, we enjoyed a round of shots! Shanti played great music and we danced like the place belonged to us. In overall, I would definitely recommend coming here. I’ve heard and seen Areito on a weekend and it gets packed! They have bottle and hookah specials and the music never fails. I hope ladies night can make it! It would be a great addition.

Their servers are thief’s and steal money out of your purse if your careless and not paying close attention one their servers stole $300 from my purse and they kept giving me the runaround for months and the chimi sandwich and juice was over $30 extremely over priced and they barely get any customers I see why they servers steal. I shouldve reported the crime right away but the police officer close to the buisness that day seemed to have better things to worry about. They promised to show cameras and etc but I could never get in contact with owner. Just a bunch of bull—- they deserve 0 stars and I honestly see why they don’t get much customers. I was there only customer at 3pm and they didn’t get any other customers intil after 9-10pm the serve who stole my money said.

Melissa is an incredible bartender! I had an amazing experience with her—truly a 10 out of 10. She went above and beyond and completely exceeded our expectations. If you’re coming here, you have to see her. Highly recommended!
