“Came to Hollywood Florida for a couple days and definitely found my spot at Blue Wave, this place had an amazing vibe to it. The drinks were amazing and the food, especially the empanadas was absolutely amazing. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner George and man what a guy, this is a place I will continue to support when I come back down. Couldn’t recommend this place more when visiting the boardwalk. More then a great experience 🤌🏽“

“Not sure what Con Artist Karen is talking about. Prices were cleared displayed, we ordered the combo with 6 empanadas and two drinks, paid just as posted. Now that Karen’s out the way…..

All six were delicious. I recommend the spinach as well as the mushroom one. ENJOY!!!!!“

“I would give this restaurant 20 stars not 5!!! , excellent food , super fresh , home made , beyond expectations the service ( my family of 13 had their 13 different dishes together on record time ) amazing service , thank you very much to all the staff including the chefs ! “This was a unexpected pleasant surprise! I booked 2 days before valentines and in between tried to contact the restaurant without luck. We arrived about 8 minutes late yet they had our table of 7 waiting for us in a very cozy corner. In addition, they had a band that aligned with our age group so everyone sang along. Best of all surprises was the food was absolutely spectacular. Although, it was a set menu and price, the food was high quality and cooked to perfection. Needless to say, we will return.“

“Ducked in to eyeball the place and try the fare and determine if they would be a good addition to my walking food tours in the downtown area and it was a total home run, here's why:
* Close to home and easy to add to the tour offering.
* Homemade empanadas, ham & cheese is my favorite!
* Homemade quiche cups, ham and cheese is my favorite!
* Excellent and varied choice of alfajores in house, SCORE!
* Small, quaint, cozy!
* Priced right.

“I came here to celebrate my 22nd birthday with friends on Ladies Night, which is every Thursday! The drinks were buy one, get two free, and the food was delicious. However, the best part was the amazing ambiance and the incredibly sweet and attentive staff! It’s a fantastic place to visit, whether for lunch or to celebrate special achievements. “Recomiendo lo que venden pero NO RECOMIENDO EL SERVICIO y la actitud de algunas empleadas. Luego de llevarme 3 docenas de facturas y una caja llena de masitas la muchacha se veia fastidiada y con mala actitud. Me apure en darle mi orden para hacer su trabajo mas facil y aun asi en todo momento me hablo mal. Ni ganas de pedir las empanadas y los sandwiches de miga. Mire a mi esposo y le dije ya no le pidas nada. Luego de darle una buena propina, Le pedi un cappuccino y fue el peor que he tomado en mi vida. Muy mala actitud.!!“

“We brought our aunt to the Las Olas location for her 75th Birthday. We all had a different cut of meat and they all were excellent and cooked perfectly. The Sausage and Empenadas were also very good. Service was top notch, you definitely know you are having a fine dining experience. Wish we weren’t here just on vacation it would be our new regular place for steak. Hopefully they will continue to expand up the coast and eventually open a location in our home city of Daytona Beach“
