Cali coffee has been very consistent with their service and quality of drinks that we order. The service members at this location are always friendly and the service is fast even though the lines can be long. The coffee tastes like coffee and the teas taste like tea ... Not just flavored sugar bombs. I appreciate enjoying the flavors of the base drinks. You'll have to see for yourself if you haven't gone yet! Ask for stickers when you go.

I used to work at Memorial Regional Hospital, one highway exit away from Cali Coffee, and many coworkers were obsessed with the coffee from here. I can’t tell you how many times I saw someone walking into their shift clutching a humongous iced coffee emblazoned with the CALI COFFEE font, or how many times someone has elicited cheers for bringing a tray of ordered Cali Coffees to the workstation. I got it once in a group order but felt my iced coffee was watered down and not very flavorful. But it’s always worth an in person visit to try again.
I just went by the location for the first time because I needed 1. A pit stop for my car to cool down, and 2. A coffee moment. The bright blue signage of their logo is unmistakable and a fun characterization of the concept of the coffee shop. The drive-thru moves really quickly as does the walk up counter. I’m used to being ignored by a counter for 10 minutes before I can place an order, but a staff member immediately greeted me and waited for my order. I had to tell her that I just started looking at the menu and couldn’t decide what to get. During the minute I was looking, a girl walked up to the counter and ordered right away. You can tell that there are diehard fans who know exactly what their usual order is. The menu is blown up next to the order counter so there is no way you miss anything on it. They have non-coffee drinks like caffeinated fruit fusions and shakes, as well as a couple snacks of muffin tops and cake pops. Honestly, I respect that they don’t try to make a food menu because it maintains their focus on the drinks.
I was able to get an iced cookies and cream coffee—-sugar free! They have sugar free syrup available which makes me happy, since I usually avoid flavored coffee drinks because of the sugar that goes into them. The crumble cookie whipped topping and drizzle are extra, as well as substituting for non-dairy milk. I would say you don’t need those unless you really want a ‘grammable drink. The coffee was flavorful with just enough sweetness. There were bits of cookie crumbs mixed in which made it fun to drink. It did water down once the ice began melting, so if I had a wish, I would start with a stronger coffee. But it was a great break to have! I’d go by again and try a different drink.

My coworkers and I have been regulars of this Cali location since they first opened. The staff always had high energy and were incredibly kind but my most recent visit, two members were quite rude. I understand the bees can be a bit scary or pesky but the gentleman in the drive thru shouldn’t be swatting and killing them while taking my order. He wasn’t listening to my order, I had to keep repeating myself as he was more focused on killing the bees. It’s not only unfortunate to watch but puts guests at risk of being stung as it agitates the bees. My friend decided to go to the walk up window and inform them of this, the girl at window brushed her off and told her that they weren’t killing the bees. As if my friend and I both didn’t witness the gentleman kill 3 of them. We even heard another coworker ask him if he was killing them and he lied saying he was only shooing them away. After all this and our order ended up coming out wrong. I’m going to have to visit a different location from now on. Locations that hopefully keep Cali’s original tradition of correct and delicious coffee + staff that care about their customers.

Their menu had just the right amount of choices where you’re not overwhelmed or underwhelmed. I like that each coffee flavor has the option of being prepared iced, hot, or frozen. So you actually have to drive up to order and pay. The girl who took our order was super friendly. I thought it was nice enough that she was asking us questions about how our day is going etc. Then when we got our coffee cups each one had a cute little note which coincidentally related to both of us quite well.
Their coffee is as good as Starbucks, which, let's be honest, isn't exactly a high bar. I'm no coffee master, but I do know my beans and I always look for higher-end beans, you know, the kind where you can really taste the difference.
Hmm now Im wondering if people are raving about this place for the energetic and kind demeanor of the people working there rather than their coffee drinks. Or perhaps I simply made a wrong choice and should have ordered some iced flavored drink? As lattes isnt where they shine.
Sorry for the two star but I think its only fair since I rather throw it away than drink it.

I especially appreciated that a homeless man walked up to the window for a cup of ice and even though he was not a paying customer they were so kind to him. I don’t know where they keep finding amazing staff. Now open one in Winter Park. Please and thank you.
