This spot has always been special to me. I grew up in the area and spent plenty of my college years hanging out at this local gem, so it was really special to be back for the Super Bowl with my husband, daughter, and my dad and his friends. The location is unbeatable right on the water, the prices are great, and the menu is huge, there’s truly something for everyone. Our server was bomb, super quick and on top of everything, even with how busy it was, and loved happy hour. We also had the pleasure of meeting the new owners, Erica and David, who were incredibly welcoming and hands on during the Super Bowl craziness. You can really tell how much they care about the place. The vibe is fun and laid back, and I can’t wait to see all the exciting changes coming to this Hollywood classic. Such a great night and an even better atmosphere.

I went in to watch my home town Chicago Bears and sat on high tables next to the window did not get greeted, no one offered drinks and a menu I waited for fifteen minutes nothing. I got up and left, do better.

After I heard the Capone’s sold the place and the new owners take over on 1/1/26 I had to make a migration back to get a mixed Italian sub and a view of Holland Park like the old days. Surprisingly I easily got a parking space. It must’ve been an omen that I owed this place to return visit from my childhood.
