I live locally and try to give my business to the small, local shops. There's no "try" here - this place is delicious, beautiful, charming, and a reward for a hard week at work. I have never had a pastry that wasn't delicately divine. I feel like I'm in Europe. I've stopped by late in the afternoon, and their pastries taste just as fresh as they do at 8am. Love this place.

Pleasant surprise! Open early for early birds. Excellent coffee. Great breakfast sandwiches and pastries. Scandinavian pastries are very similar to French but better! Friendly service. A little pricy but better than Starbucks. Hope to be back soon.

Wow this place is pure joy. I haven't had any baked pastries in the US this good in a while. The pastries were both delicious and made perfectly. I specifically recommend the almond croissant. The prices are not too bad, the atmosphere is nice, and a ton of locals come here in and out for their usual pick ups. Aside from that the staff (usually one member), and they are very sweet. Great business, I will definitely be coming back here for breakfast.

After reading the other reviews I can understand how some may feel about the sketchy location and even the lack of enthusiasm from the staff but the pastries literally make up for all of that! I tried multiple and every single one was outstanding. My favorite was probably the butter- which was fresh and warm right out of the oven and the maple pecan braid was great as well. The dough is so fresh and the everything has a perfect outside crunch and soft inside. My latte was on the weaker side but that could be my fault for not ordering an additional espresso shot. I went early- basically at opening time on a Sunday so I had plenty of options. Overall I would return because the pastries were just that good!

We love this bakery! We ordered vanilla lattes, a cream crown, a blackberry cream fan, and spinach feta croissant. The pastries were flaky and savory, while the fillings were creamy and sweet. We loved the atmosphere and service! This may become our new Saturday morning hangout spot.
