Discovered this place while searching for a replacement for Red Thai which is closed due a fire. I was not disappointed at all and have ordered several times since finding them. Its always the smaller "hole in the wall" independently owned restaurants that serve the best food! And friendly service never hurts either.

Amazing. First time and the staff were amazing and the food was phenomenal. Can't wait to go back for more.

Food was ok, service was slow and everything took forever to come. Overall average place.

Went to Dee Dee's based on the Yelp reviews and because it was so close. It was OK. The spring rolls were good but the chicken satay was thin and dry. The sauces were really good though. The pad thai was just ok. It really lacked flavor but adding some soy sauce and some of the leftover peanut sauce from the satay helped. The pad see yew was delicious. It had a toasty flavor and lots of bitter greens was a nice touch. Unfortunately, both dishes had over cooked noodles.

Accepted my order on uber eats made the driver go all the way And then while at the restaurant they told him they cancelled my order. I couldn’t get anything else to eat because everything else is close by now. I have to send a bunch of emails to uber eats to get my money back! Horrible customer services. Do not order from here you will never get your food.

I really love their food. I always get good customer service there. The place is well organised and the workers are always very friendly. Will visit here again.

A hidden gem! This place is truly awesome, some of the best Thai food I have ever had. Where have they been all my life?! The taste, the presentation and promptness of the order being ready is fantastic! The staff is completely friendly and even know some by name, hands down this food was the BOMB!

Not a very good first experience, especially after reading the reviews about this place. I ordered gyoza and shrimp Shumai first and it was served cold which tells me it wasn't fresh. I told them about it and all I got was a sorry, I still had to pay. Miso soup was so so, and then I ordered a steak teriyaki, which also was so so. If you're used to hibachi grill quality, that isn't this place. Service was decent but food needs work.

I don't know what's wrong with the people who live off of Sheridan between 441 and I-95, it's like they all have the palate of a honey badger. I swear to God every highly rated restaurant in the Sheridan St corridor is either average or a complete dud. I typically avoid restaurants in this corridor, but I decided to give this place a chance. Initially, I was going to this Vietnamese restaurant off of Hollywood Blvd, but they were closed, so I decided to check out Dee Dees down the street. Being a purist I never order Japanese outside of an authentic Japanese restaurant, but for whatever reason, I did this time. I ordered yakisoba, spring rolls, and Thai tea. The Thai tea was mildly sweet and the spring rolls were near perfect. Yakisoba is supposed to be sweet & savory, but what they served me was totally " le Bland" . It was like there wasn't even a sprinkling of seasoning on it. I've never used sriracha sauce in my life, but I had to make this dish swim in it to make it edible. I mean how can an Asian dish be bland? How is that even possible. This place ruined my Saturday night dinner, and with Kubo & Urban Thai around I doubt if I will return to try any of their Thai dishes.

After reading great reviews, and realizing that Dee Dee's is about 4 minutes from our house, we decided to check it out tonight. I'm usually somewhat ambivalent about Thai food - I like it, but don't love it. My girlfriend lived in Thailand for a few years and loves GOOD Thai food. Short version - Wow. We will DEFINITELY be back. The food was spectacularly good. We had a Nam Sod Salad, which I had never had - Lettuce, white onions, scallions, cilantro, mint, peanuts, ginger, lime juice and chicken tossed in Tom Yum sauce. Delicious. We scraped the plate. My girlfriend had a special soup, something boat noodles with pork - REALLY delicious broth, lots of pork (more like ground pork) with miscellaneous other stuff in it. I had a seafood Pad Thai. Delicious. For dessert, we split a tempura banana - nicely done. Not "heavy", with a hint of cinnamon, over vanilla ice cream. Yum. Seriously. As someone who can usually take or leave Thai food, I REALLY liked it a lot. They have a number of very authentic dishes not usually found in local restaurants, which my girlfriend appreciated, and what we had was well prepared. Service was excellent. The owner came out with her daughter to make sure everything was good, and we had a nice conversation with her. It seems like basically a family place. Nothing fancy, but great food. My kind of place. Highly recommended.
