This place was delicious back in 2022, 2023. My family from out of state had to go there every time they visited me in Ft. Lauderdale. However, as usual we went there last night 8/7/2025. I even asked when the Chef was changed. The bacalaitos taste like boxed store bought. The pulpo which was one of our main reasons going there, was really soft, weird texture and tasted totally different. My sister woul have me buy her some and take the pulpo to NY for her. She was turned off yesterday.The Mamposteao was "red" looked and tasted as it was drenched in achote and sazon. I have a picture on my FB page, feel free to take a look. The awesome pink beans from the past, are no more. $333 later, we all left disappointed. That marks the end of our business with this place. It has totally fallen off. Oh, and 3.50 for a can of coke, de madre. The waitress service was the best thing in the establishment. Le puse la Cruz al Bayu de Wela Sara. Jamas....

Been in other so called puertorican places and they were a huge disappointment, I am puertorrican myself and I look for that kick in flavors not to be confused with our other latino brothers. Service food and ambience were on point. Ate cornbeef alcapurria, pasteles, arroz con gandules y pernil. Has the house mojitos and dessert. Yandel and zamira are amazing hosts!

Well, now I know that I don’t like Puerto Rican food. Everything is fried. Fried banana, fried chicken, fried pork, fried some long brown thing, I don’t even know what it was. Good thing I ordered rice and salad also so at least I could eat something.

Their food was delicious, like really a must try. My first time trying food from PR, i couldnt get enough of it, awesome, but their portions are really good also
Their service was over the top, i wish i could remember the name of the servers because they did more than enough for my and my father.
More than a customer service they treated us like friends, and i really appreciate that.
Very amazing authentic Puerto Rican food the rice was delicious and the pork chop tender. Felt like I was home with the delicious pernil and Samaria gave amazing service as well and took care of us at the end with a shot of Coquito for our first time visiting the restaurant. Will be back for the live music on the weekend!
