Maybe it was not the best time in the year to eat a lobster sandwich. There was no taste in it and not a lot of lobster. Little expensive for what we got served.

I dined here with my family this evening and
I can confidently say it was an unforgettable experience, thanks in large part to our phenomenal waitress, Ivana. From the moment we were seated, Ivana’s attentiveness, warmth and humor set the tone for an enjoyable evening. The restaurant's atmosphere and view were spectacular.

I would have given it 5 stars, but there were two things I didn’t like.

First: the valet parking. When we arrived, the two attendants at the entrance told us there was a one-hour wait. When we said we were willing to wait, they changed it to an hour and a half. Then they said there were no tables available unless we had a reservation. Thankfully, one of my friends went inside to ask and was told the wait was only 25 minutes. Honestly, the valet staff should be supervised or replaced — if they don’t want to work, they’ll end up turning customers away before they even get in.

Aside from that, everything else was great. Our waitress was excellent, the food was incredible, and even though my dish was slightly burnt, they gave us a dessert as a courtesy. Overall: 20 out of 10 for the food and service inside — but they definitely need to fix the valet situation.

I’m beyond disappointed with GG’s Waterfront. I made a reservation for 20 people on June 1st, and even paid a deposit to secure the date — the day before Father’s Day — to celebrate my grandmother’s 75th birthday. Less than 24 hours before the event, they called to cancel the reservation, saying they “can’t accommodate large parties on Father’s Day.”

How is it acceptable to take a deposit in advance, hold a confirmed reservation, and then cancel last minute? This has put me in a terrible situation with guests traveling and preparing to celebrate a huge milestone, only to be left scrambling for a new venue the day before.

This level of unprofessionalism and lack of regard for customers is unacceptable, especially from a restaurant that markets itself as upscale and reliable. I would not recommend GG’s Waterfront for special occasions or group events — they do not honor their commitments.

Everything was good. They do use a multi server approach which makes you feel like you have to tell two people the same thing so that it doesn’t get done twice. Atmosphere and taste of food made a good impression. Always remember to ask what the market price which fluctuates on Alaskan king crabs which were good and were pre opened before coming to the table which made for easy eating. The calamari appetizer was the best recipe for it I have ever tasted, with arugula and other flavors mixed in.

My experience at GG's was okay at best, a bit disappointing. I went with my family, my spouse and I are a younger couple with a 6 month old baby at the time of our visit. We were seated without a reservation on Christmas day, the first strike was that when we were seated it was outside right next to the bar which allows smoking. Clearly the fact that we had a baby did not cross the hosts mind when deciding where to seat us, I had asked to relocate but my spouse was really hungry and at the time there weren't too many people at the bar and no one started smoking until later. The second strike was our experience with the waiter who I won't name. He came to the table a total of 4 maybe 5 times to check on us, he was knowledgeable on the menu but outside of that the service lacked heavily. The busser attended us just as much as the waiter, I hope he gets a cut of the 18% automatic gratuity as well. Lastly, someone who I would assume to be one of the managers went around our area asking guests how their experience was so far, initially he skipped our table presumably because we're a young family and not a big party and instead went to the tables around us. He must of noticed my serious demeanor when walking back and finally asked how our experience was, I politely told him everything was alright. The highlight of GG's was the food. I had the Filet Mignon accompanied by their carrots and whipped potato, my wife had the Cioppino. Unfortunately we weren't able to enjoy the waterfront so can't say that it was a highlight of our visit. Hope this helps.

We were looking for a lunch spot on New Years Day and remembered that my mother raved about the few times she had been to GG's so we decided to try it out. We arrived and the only parking option offered was to valet our vehicle. There is a $6 charge for the service and they collect payment before you go into the restaurant. We were seated immediately upon arrival and had the table right by the door to head out to the dock area. The ambiance of the restaurant was great and the people were friendly. Upon being seated we were greeted by a pleasant young woman who kindly advised us that she wasn't our server and was assisting the individual who was to be our server. Our server was not visible at the time of this young woman addressing us. She went to get us some waters and upon returning took our drinks order. After some time, our server did come over to our table and told us that he sees that we put in a drink order and that he would grab our drinks for us. We were never offered the break basket that every other table that was sat after us got. Little did we know that would be the last time our server would acknowledge us for the day. The initial young woman came back and took the rest of our order. We started with the Lobster Bisque, which was flavorful but lukewarm by the time we got it to our table. I waited for our server to come over and check on us as I needed another drink but he was too busy snapping group photos for the other tables he was serving. For our main course we had the Florida Mahi Mahi and we also ordered a Cesar Salad with Salmon. The mahi mahi was extremely overcooked and dry and the salad was brought out without any salmon. I made attempts to hail my server, but he was too busy attending to the other tables he had. He often times had to pass our table to attend to those other tables and didn't even check to see if there was anything needed. My wife and I frequent specialty restaurants quite often and was appalled by the service that was offered on the day in question. The young lady who was assisting did a great job and we were quite satisfied with her effort but the gentleman who was to be our server did everything but the job he was trusted to fulfill. The manager did come over and comp our drinks off the tab but that was not going to take the bad taste out of our mouths. This was our first and last time at GG's because it is quite evident that they do not need nor care for our business.

The restaurant was incredibly busy, yet the staff handled everything remarkably efficiently. We received outstanding service, the food was exceptional, and the view was nothing short of spectacular. The entire experience was thoroughly enjoyable— sending my strongest commendation to the restaurant and the whole team for their exceptional service.
