Gourmet Burgers & More Hollywood

Ate here on 12/8, the night before our cruise. Food was really good and waitresses were all so nice and friendly. We had a group of 6 and eating out by the beach with a nice breeze was just what we wanted (getting in our vacay groove)! I would definitely come back here again!

Omg! Why Not. Zero words can describe the food. Owner was a Turo car owner that is how we found his place. He invited us to his diner in Hollywood Florida. He lived in Italy moved to the US so he could own a restaurant and create. We ate Sushi, acevichado roll, bang bang shrimp, linguine Casio E peppe, fiocchetti alle pere e tartufo. It was all amazing. His place is on Hollywood florida board walk. And yes I tried them all! The girl who doesn’t eat seafood! Make it a point to head over to Hollywood Florida to go to his restaurant on the beach called Why Not!

The sushi was fresh with different flavors than your typical sushi. Small venue with bar options. Even with it raining the ambience was still welcoming. Of coarse, additional plus is it’s on the beach.

Their team was handing out menus for the restaurant while we were staying close by. When we got back to the hotel we checked it out. Their menu was incredible. I can't believe it did't show up when we were planning out where we were going to eat while in town. We decided to go there one of the days for dinner, It has one of the nicest interiors of the many restaurants we ate at while in the Hollywood beach area. We got a great seat inside but could still see the beach. They have a large menu full of pasta, burgers, pizza, steaks and even a $95 Tomahawk. So very American style cuisine but something for everyone. The service was okay. I asked a few questions about a few different dish because I have a mushroom allergy so its better to be safe them sorry. I rarely ever order pop/soda but they had Mexican coke in the bottle so I had to have it how its my favourite. I put my order in for the lobster & shrimp ravioli which I ended up getting the seafood linguini. I mentioned it to the server before even taking a bite. But she didn't really seem to care. It was amazing really good flavour, tons of seafood and a really good portion. But still it was not what I ordered. My spouse ordered the Why Not burger that came with all his favourite toppings, it did not disappoint. Honestly I rarely expect a discount but when you serve someone the wrong food you should either given a small discount or offer to remake the food. The food here was really good which means I will eat here again and next time we are in town I can try the ravioli.

This place is a hidden gem. Our hotel doesn’t serve breakfast, so we wanted to find a brunch spot nearby on the boardwalk. We walked up to the hostess stand, and she was very welcoming and sat us immediately on a Saturday morning at 11am. Our server Edwin was very attentive and the food was delicious. The beautiful beach view was a bonus too. Will definitely be back to eat here soon!

The food was amazing and delicious, the staff was fantastic and the cocktails were wonderful! We stopped for lunch, this restaurant was my choice. I had seen it on our stalls on the boardwalk and every time we passed it looked great. Always full at dinner, it was easy to get a table outside on the boardwalk at lunch. My hubby had the seafood linguine and it was so full of fresh seafood he loved it! I had the Why Not burger and it was perfect. Our cocktails were delicious too! I hope to go back and enjoy the smart little bar inside this evening ?

Nothing bad to say about this restaurant and menu options were just right, service was excellent. Staff were very friendly. Stayed in Hoolywood beach for a few days and was recommend by where we stayed. It was a Wednesday and they had promo for 20% off meat menu. Food was a five star rating. They must have a great chef preparing the food. There was 5 for dinner and everyone ordered different meals, all were excellent. I had the brisket burger, which was tasty, chicken parmesan was a large portion. Chicken sandwich was very good also. They also had the pucket of beers, 5 for $25. I would recommend going for dinner here.

Both of us agreed our food was tasteless & dry. Don’t think Mojito even had any booze in it ! Gave it a 2 cause the staff was friendly, certainly not because of the menu

I can’t say enough how wonderful this restaurant is. The food was amazing and the service was fantastic . I visited with my boyfriend for a quick dinner after a day at the beach. Our waters were always topped off which was good for a hot day. The food tasted amazing . I tried the strawberry banana smoothie and it was exactly what I needed for a hot sunny day.

They should drop gourmet from their name. Hardee's has better burgers. Waste of money.

Gourmet burgers? This is the furthest thing from gourmet you will ever find. If I could give zero stars I would. Holy moly that was bad. My mouth still tastes like charcoal and burnt rubber. No wonder no one was in there. $15 dollars I shoulda got 15 McDoubles. I haven’t ate since last night and honestly wish I still hadn’t. I would’ve rather walked all the way back to Wisconsin and ate at the dumpster. Honestly i Could probably find better food in the trash. I wouldn’t even give this to a homeless man.
