Grumpy Gary's at Dockers

Great spot for good local seafood or a nice meal in general …..⭐️Hint !!!!! if you have a layover at the airport, you can literally Uber to grumpy Gary ‘s restaurant. It’s a five minute ride . Have a nice meal and pay half the prices you would pay in the airport. Nice bar with great drinks. You won’t be disappointed. I go here often and i to use Grumpys if i have a delay or just want to stop in for a meal before i fly out. Its an easy 5 min drive away from airport. Located right above the marina so that in itself is pretty cool. Cheers!! Fish dip is top notch !!! But all the food is very good you cant go wrong …. There’s a gas station right across the street so you can always put some gas in your rental car if you’re flying out.

Parking: Parking is free and they have their own parking lot.

Great local restaurant with great food and drinks. In the evening we enjoyed live music, and the place was busy. Grumpy came highly recommended and didn't disappoint us.

This is a solid seafood place with decent views of the "big boats" in the marina. Happy Hour is 3-6 M-F.

Everything was a bit disappointing. The food was poorly prepared, and served by completely disinterested wait staff. The burger would've been a let down at $5 and it was $15. Fish sandwich wasn't bad, and the fries were fine, but still steep for the quality and amount. Also half the menu wasn't available unfortunately. I love the view of the marina, and Dania Beach is wonderful, but I really hoped for better.

We were in Ft Lauderdale for the night and Grumpy Gary's was within walking distance of our hotel. It was perfect! Great food! I had the fish ruben. What a taste sensation!
There was a live band and they were amazing! Especially the vocalist. Wow! Service was great too! And some of the best key lime pie for dessert!

Came in alone. Sat at the bar a gentleman gave me menus and a beer on tap. Beer didn’t taste like what I asked for. He said a bartender will be with me in a moment. I waited and waited. She spoke to ppl next to me. Never even acknowledge me. A bartender just took my menus away not even asking me if I was going to get anything. The gentleman who gave me my beer cleaned up a spill behind bar with mop, idk what was in the bucket of water but it was a strong cleaner. I paid my bill and left.

Edit, I was there Friday (10/4) night at approx 7:00pm.

Well if your planning on eating food don’t go they don’t have any … everything you wanted to order they didn’t have .. how does that happen they may of had some chicken who knows but we didn’t check.. let’s just say I will never go back again ..I mean really they should have gave us our drinks for free .. but they didn’t ????

Dietary restrictions: Grumpy’Gary’s salad is very good. A nice mix of lettuce, cherry tomatoes, red onions, olives, artichoke, topped with feta cheese!! Mmm good!!

Well. We think Gary has a new horse in town. Our waitress.

No cutlery. No napkins. No water. No service !!! Quick with the bill though !?

Food was ok .. nothing to shout about.

Friday night they have a band … if you’re lucky and get there around 5pm, you get to hear them tuning their guitars for an hour and a half !! - great !

I asked when I went in ‘who was Grumpy Gary?’ A bird. A fish. The owner ….. after this experience, must be a regular !
