The best fried chicken ever

This place looks closed because of how unfair the the rental space price at Block 40 in Hollywood is. I guess the owners of the facility think its better to have empty space and destroy good local restaurants.

hangry joe’s chicken was really good. i tried the hot chicken tenders and the hot chicken sandwich, and both were super crispy and had the perfect amount of heat. it was very spicy. the sandwich was juicy and stacked, and the tenders were big and had great flavor. the waffle fries were good too, but i wasn’t really into the powdered cheese on them. it tasted kind of off, and i think melted cheese would’ve made them way better. overall, the food was great, and was worth going back for sure! i'll probably ask for a more milder chicken, as they were really hot.

I have ordered food from here several times and it has always been excellent. The wings are pre-marinated In a dry rub before they are fried so the flavor goes throughout the meat very rich in flavor with or without sauce. Moist wings properly cooked and their sauces are excellent. Just whatever your heat level is take it down one notch when you order. Their Sando sandwiches or excellent as well. Nice enough to have little dog treats so my dogs will not let me walk by block 40 without saying hi. Reasonable prices. Great people, quality, and service.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was so good and the service was super friendly. You can tell they really care about what they’re doing. Everything came out fresh and full of flavor. Highly recommend it
