Very sad. Why even be vegan in the first place to make such a crazy switch up.
I visited Happea’s in Brickell on March 16, 2025, and mostly had the falafel, which was decent but nothing special. The biggest disappointment is that this place used to be fully vegan but decided to introduce animal flesh to the menu. It’s frustrating to see a restaurant that once aligned with ethical eating now contributing to animal suffering. If you’re looking for a fully plant-based spot, this isn’t it. There are much better vegan-friendly options in Miami that stay true to the cause.
I recommend falafel ? very nice compositions to choose from from the vending machine in the premises. A nice change to American cuisine!

My wife and I are big fans of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, and we recently discovered Happea’s as a delivery option. We tried it for the first time and were truly impressed! The hummus, pita, and chicken wrap were standouts — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Everything we ordered was delicious, and we’re looking forward to ordering again. Highly recommend!

Wow!! This place is amazing ?. I was skeptical to try a new place but I’m so glad I did. Everything was delicious! Ordered fries, chicken skewer, pita hummus, rib eye pocket???. They also reached out to me personally to make sure the order delivered. Also love the packaging. 10/10

I usually like the food but the last 2 times hasn’t been the best. The last time I was there, I received old, dry food. This time, I find a piece of hair near the bottom of my bowl. I feel extremely gross because i can’t imagine what else I may have eaten without me noticing. I don’t know what has happened with the kitchen staff the last few months but the food safety has gone down. I can’t even drive back and ask for a refund because I live in Broward. I was only in Brickell for work.
Everything I have been ordering at this place is amazing, super fresh and tasty. They also use just avocado oil.
