We ordered food from Imasa via Uber Eats. Not sure what’s been going on lately, but it’s shocking how the quality has plummeted in such a short time. We have been ordering from Imasa at least twice a month for the past few years. Perhaps they’re under new ownership in past year or so, but it’s definitely not what it was when they first opened the restaurant!! The food arrived mixed temperatures. They don’t ever separate the hot food from cold food with at least a piece of cardboard in between packaging. The spring rolls were previously frozen and dried out and stale. No wonder they are BOGO! The avocado on the Dragon Roll was brown, as if it was made previously prepared and not made fresh. The Imperial Roll was a complete mess and falling apart. We couldn’t even eat it with chopsticks, and had to use our hands to eat it. Unfortunately, even after giving them numerous chances, sadly we will not be ordering from Imasa again.

Not as good as I remember it but still a great spot for a local sushi place. Service was great from the moment we entered. Food was good but not as good as it was. Not sure if the ownership changed. The calamari appetizer though is still the best I’ve ever had!

Amazing sushi!! Best Japanese Otoro! Best Japanese uni.. did i say they are the best! The best part is the price .. not the brickell side price definitely . Laura our server also was great so attentive & professional.. great recommendations. Do yourself a favor and must visit this amazing place

Always a great experience at Imasa. I've tried a variety of dishes, apps & rolls from their menu and have never been disappointed. I look forward to trying something new every time I stop by.
Their to-go process is pretty smooth [side door] but the line can get long sometimes; they're really good & honestly worth the wait.
Absolutely recommend for a chill date night with a cute atmosphere and quality food.

Have been twice and each time it exceeded my expectations. First time we did mostly sushi. Great creative sushi rolls. Second we had Mongolian beef, dumplings, wonton soup and fried rice. The desserts are good as well.
Our server was phenomenal Wang R. Everything about the food was insanely awful. Sent back the curry mai fun, it was like ramen noddles with no substance. Bao buns come with pickled veggies, menu has no description. It came out with lettuce. This ain’t a burger lol. I want pickled veggies. Crispy tuna rice looked like it was fried in old oil. Won’t come back.

We had a great experience at Imasa in Davie! We ordered the Green Dragon Roll and the Crispy Rice topped with spicy tuna and jalapeño – both were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. And not to me lion the fried cheesecake - WOW! Be ready to clean the dish on this one! Portions were just right and the prices are very reasonable. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and has a really nice atmosphere, perfect for a casual dinner or date night. Definitely recommend Imasa if you’re in the area and craving delicious sushi at a fair price!
