First time I tried to order from here was months ago with Grubhub and after waiting for a while I called and I was told that the chef had left and they didn’t know when he/she was coming back and they didn’t how to cancel my order. Anyways I called and got my money back.Fast forward to today, I decided to give them a try but this time I called to place my order and went there for pick up.In person you can only pay with cash or cashapp.This “restaurant” is more like a lounge/club type of place. VIP area, dance floor, pool tables and lots of tables to sit. It would be a great place for big groups or to hangout on a weekend.Now on to the food. We ordered griot $15 with black rice, fried plantains and also some oxtail $20 with same sides.Everything was really really good. The griot had a food amount of fat to it and the pikliz was great and perfect spice level. The black rice and the fried plantains tasted homemade.The oxtail was lacking oxtail lol but they were good.I would recommend to try just maybe not with an app.

So I looked at the Yelp page before to preface my review starting my experience now so let's begin walking in it looks like a really new restaurant especially with the things on the window outside (there actually see through from the inside) also for a bit of detail it's 90 something degrees out here so I'm sweating bad (there is ac inside) walking in very small hole in the wall place fish smells but it's the good cooked fish smell but time to order I'm gonna order the Griot and the water no waiters or servers but good thing there's AC the table is very wobbly I got a water it's bottled I'm gonna say the owner is the guy in the white shirt or his dad who walked in the dad is with his daughter this is relaxing so far both of the people who work here speak creole im use to it living in North Miami Beach for a bit the son on the elevated coach area to the right is playing some very inappropriate videos with cursing but I can't do much in a family business dosent look like many people come here in the lunch hours maybe just dinner times the tables aren't clean at all there's a lot of salt on the table the smell inside really reminds me of Tarks the Griot on the menu lists fried pork served with fried plantains rice and salad I put in my order around 3:09 PM 3:17 the guy in white shirt says almost done im ready to go in obese mode on some good food has arrived at 3:21 on a big black gray a lot of food the meat is very good fresh crispy just lacking savory taste and seasoning a bit but enjoyable the Tostones I ate are very good very good still so soft in the middle it's perfect just needs to cool down the beans are mostly just liquid the sauce that comes with the griot is very good a little spice and kick to it the rice is scorching hot but taste very good with the beans this is a lot of food jeez I'm pounding it so far the fat on the griot is very creamy and good just has a bit of a weird taste but I like it the white rice is almost minty in taste I think I'm finished for now it's 3:35 I'm just gonna take the rice and beans home for later I really enjoyed this experience a good place just to stop and eat I do advise tho wait till your food cools down because it's fresh out of the cooking process but the tastes are amazing I really liked my experience today I'll rate this a 4 would come again just on a day when I have enough space in my stomach walking home nice and full total was 10.00 but I gave 15 and said keep the change good to support small businesses (Side note guy in white shirt is 6,5 huge im tall in my family but I feel short standing next to him) Caution: Great Food Great Portions Very Hot (I'm posting this at 4:16 I just got home from walking) This review was written in Chronological order of my full experience detailing my tastes and my surroundings and even the out of the ordinary)

Outstanding place, good vybz, nice quiet unique place where you come relax, clear out yuh mind peacefully. Also, you'll dun know they serve the food Haitian creole food in di Hollywood area. Inside, pool table, V. I. P booth, bar ECT.
