Joe's Old School Pizza

This was a 5 star review. Now it's a 1 star review. Today when I went to the window to pick up my cheese pizza, meat lovers pizza, and garlic rolls, the "Pizza Man" proceeds to tel me that when I order a Meat Lovers, I ordered sausage, peppers, onions, black olives. That's not a Meat Lovers pizza. I tried to make my point, and was immediately shut down and told that's how it comes. So I took the pizzas I paid for and left. But to make sure I'm telling the WHOLE story, I made a comment on the way to my car as I passed the other kitchen window saying "I ordered a Meat Lovers pizza and it comes with everything but meat". The 'Pizza Man" started yelling at me from the kitchen, but I tuned him out at that point so I don't really know what he said. Also, when I got home, the pizza had black olives, pepperoni, sausage, and something else, which renders the "Pizza Man's" need to instigate an argument COMPLETELY irrelevant. So skip this place. There's better pizza around. Won't be going back.

Without any hesitation, Joe's is the BEST PIZZA in Broward. I will even go as far as to say in South Florida. Besides their pizza, they all make some terrific chicken parmesan as well their famous garlic roll is superb. Their employees are very friendly and patient when you need time to place your order. My only complaint is the establishment is mostly outdoors and isn't nice to go when it's raining. But besides that, I really highly recommend this pizza restaurant as I promise you that you won't be disappointed.

That was good. We bought 3 pizzas so we had pizza dinner, breakfast and lunch.
My cat doesn't eat pizza, but he liked the pizza box carton.

After seeing all these recent “one star” reviews, I had to leave my two cents. Some of these single star reviews should target the order delivery apps they used. Newsflash: Want it done right? Get in the car and go get it yourself. Not the restaurant’s fault that the delivery apps screwed it up. Other reviews are laced with poor grammar and seemingly lack ability to put together a coherent statement. So I wouldn’t give those very much credit either.

What I WILL say is the pizza here is very good. Crispy crunchy crust, not a lot of flop, even with my extra cheese order. The sauce tastes great. Zero complaints with Joe’s Old School Pizza. If you want a good pizza with no gimmicks, THIS is the place to go. If you’re reading this review with countless others, just go and experience this for yourself. After all, you don’t let movie review critics stop you from seeing a movie you want to see, right? Then you’d just be a lemming.

Not the Pizza It Used to Be

I used to love ordering from this place, but my latest pizza was a real disappointment. The crust was super thin and tasteless, more like a tortilla than pizza dough. The sauce was way too sweet, which just didn’t work. On top of that, the pizza fell apart when I tried to pick it up.

This place used to be great, but it’s really gone downhill. I don’t think I’ll be ordering from here again.

I ordered 2 huge pizzas with a drink for $8.99 and got 2 regular slices with a drink. I will never order from here again! False advertising on the Uber eats app!

There is nothing “New York” or even Italian about this place anymore. More of a Mexican attempt at basic Italian American food. I ordered a chicken parm sub and got a chicken tender, some cheese and ketchup on a lightly toasted hoagie. No Thanks!

I am a New Yorker and always crave New York-style pizza. This place is amazing. Brings great memories of pizza from my hometown and pizza is exceptionally delicious and in my option perfect!

I love pizza and always said Steve’s pizza was the best on Biscayne blvd and 125th st…until now! If you are close to commercial blvd in Hollywood I highly recommend trying this spot, Joe’s old school pizza. Nelson the pizza expert has concocted a special sauce that’s is hands down the best and a crisp thin crust! This guy does pizza right!
