I've order from here several times for pick up and the food is always good. This restaurant is a small mom and pops nothing glamorous or " Instagramable" about it just a small place with good food. I always order their bandeja paisa, but today I was craving some Colombian empanadas and went to get some. I ordered and beef, chicken and cheese. I also order a pan de bono , chicharrón, morcilla and everything was really. The service is always as very inviting and welcoming.

The server was 5 stars: courteous, fast, provided menu recommendations. The food quality was excellent, with multiple choices and quick service. There are plenty parking spaces in the strip mall. The price is average for similar restaurants. Recommended.

Hola! Hice mi orden basado en los precios que tenía en el webside y cuando llegue a recoger mi orden me salen conque estaban cambiados los precios y me cobraron $9 por encima del precio que decia. Lo único q me dijo el dueño fue que olvidaron cambiar los precios.Encima de esto la comida cruda y de mal sabor.Primera y última vez que voy allá, definitivamente no lo recomiendo.Muy malo.

I'd been looking at this place for quite a bit now finally get to try it I'm walking in ordering it to now I had to take a picture of 2 things on the menu I got Calentado La (rice beans Chicken 2 eggs and cheese arepa) And I ordered Tostones walking in it's so small and like a hole in the wall but one you can feel comfortable in I don't speak much Spanish so I took a picture of what I wanted and showed them I'm sweating so bad cause I just walked 20 minutes I'm glad there's AC here so relieving from the heat I ordered around maybe 3:04 or 3:06 the lady's who cook or behind the counter are just talking don't know about what though I ordered some water came in a glass cup with little ice but refreshing to have some water in this heat while I'm sitting here the chairs are painted white but lot of wood spots food has arrived at 3:21 oh my god smells so good lord the Arepa with cheese is very bland and boring just cheese and corn arepa but taste like plain white rice (the cheese was a little greasy but otherwise really boring) the eggs are so good and better than store bought the meat slices I got 2 of is good but the 2 pieces are so thin and it's real tough so it's well done seasoning is great and the yellow sauce on it is great as well good use some more moisture the Tostones are just perfect with crunch and the salt it's the best I've had so far the rice taste so much like some other vegetable it's weird but a healthier rice is good definitely needs seasoning it's probably store bought but not for sure on it the meat is so dry at times oh my lord please help some of the rice dosent have the orange sauce on it so it's just plain white rice with no taste the Tostones are amazing I'm gonna rate this a 3.8 or just 3 stars filled me up satisfied my taste buds just needs many improvements be warned tho the bathroom has no AC and no paper towels in there but I leave here today full and satisfied with Colombian food in my stomach it was really basic but in a good way that made me enjoy this experience greatly (I left around 3:40 total was $16.15 bucks) (great deal) (forgot to leave tip SORRY)(This review was written in Chronological order of my experience at La Colina Restaurant)

Where to start? I ordered "calentado con carne" by far is the worst one I have ever had, the rice had may be 5 pieces of beans, the steak was burnt after I asked for it to be medium, everything very tasteless and false advertisement by putting $9.00 online and end up charging you $12.49...Ordered "pan con queso" (bread with cheese) there was no cheese anywhere to be found, and still raw/undone for $5.00 a loaf of unbaked bread it's not worth it... look at the pictures...Finally ordered a "Tamal tolimense" no flavour, and no typical presentation.. $10.60 really for a whole bunch of rice, not worth it...Finally they charge you "non cash adjustment" for cash and credit card transactions... Meaning, they don't want to pay 4% for what the bank charges them for credit card transactions so we as customers have to help them pay that 4%No wonder when I went at noon there was not a soul in that restaurant.Sad that a Colombian restaurant does this because it makes people think that all other places are just like this, this is NOT authentic Colombian cuisine....3 tamales, 2 calentados and 1 loaf of bread $70.00 not worth it at all...

They NEVER have the mexican pizza and just have a sign saying out of stock, but they haven't had it in stock since it came back. The lady can never understand what i am saying as they seem to have an issue with their headphones i guess.

La colina it's a very well known environment at the time of any football games, to share with friends and family a bucket of beers. The quality of it's meal it's amazing and the attention of the team work it's extremely excellent. Highly recommended.
