15 min wait time for anything and when I ordered a lunch special and brought it home to eat, it ruined my lunch because the rice was rock hard and inedible. So I only ate the meat and salad. 😡

I really love the food and the place, but I have to be honest — some of the women working there seem to give attitude when they see another woman. It’s disappointing. We should be supporting each other, not sizing each other up.
I still tip well — sometimes even more than the men you serve. It’s 2025, let’s do better. We’re all here to make money and uplift one another.
And by the way, I’m Latina too — we should stand together, not compete.

I had a very disappointing experience at La Placita. The service was extremely poor — slow, inattentive, and unprofessional. We waited far too long to be acknowledged, and when we finally did get service, it felt rushed and careless. The staff didn’t seem interested in providing a welcoming experience at all. For a place that looks like it should offer good vibes and hospitality, it completely missed the mark. I would not recommend coming here if you expect decent customer service.

Very disappointing experience. The food lacked flavor, the salad had no dressing, and the arroz con pollo was among the worst I’ve ever had. Service was inattentive, which made the overall visit unpleasant. Definitely not recommended.
