We had dinner here last weekend and everyone at the table tried the mussels, escargot, and frog legs; all of which were absolutely delicious.

For the main course, we went with the ribeye, and it was perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

Overall, I loved the vibe of the place. The service was excellent, and the food did not disappoint. I’d definitely recommend giving this spot a try

My wife and I have walked by LeComptoir on Harrison st in downtown Hollywood probably 200 times in our 24 yrs living one block from the place. Tonight, we went in and sat at the bar. Naomi greeted us a big smile and welcomed us. Her team peer began to explain the menu. Both of them were kind and very accommodating. Our 1st time so of course we wanted to know more about the tasty mussel dishes, as they have 7 versions of preparing. We were craving garlic, wine, butter, onion bases, hint of tomatoes. Naomi tells us she had to go back and bake the bread it’s hot and yummy for us. Comforting. Wow, warm bread w melty divine butter for starters! We shared a house salad w tasty mustard wine vinegarette. Great green some cheese and tomato. Plenty for 2 to share. We got a glass of wine included with your entree. So we had the mussels Provençal w extra crispy French fries. The layers of flavor in the broth w the fresh mussels - even a touch of grit- was stellar. The fries were perfect! Huge pile of mussels and more warm bread for plenty of dipping. We added a touch of hot sauce in each bit and our moths weee jumping for joy! We layered dipped bread w 2 mussels each, more depths of the sauce and one bit was simply divine. Naomi and her peer checked on us consistently, as they place filled up. We were not sat and forgotten about which many times happens sitting at a bar. The bill w tip was $43 bucks. It was the perfect satisfying amp in t of fold for two. Family owned for 14 yrs in downtown Hollywood and I know this, we will be back! Go see and more importantly allow your taste buds to “ go with the flavor town flow”!

Had dinner their about 7 years ago and would have given it a solid 4 then. Now, a real disappointment. The menu says 8 oz steak, but you are paying for at least 2 oz of bone. Fries weren't fresh, and though the staff didn't have an attitude, she was much less than attentive. Made feel like I wasn't welcomed.

WANTED TO TRY THEIR FRENCH ONION SOUP!. FIRST OF ALL $11 IS HIGHER THAN MOST PLACES. SOUP ARRIVED WITH VERY LITTLE GREYURE CHEESE ON TOP. NONE FLOWING OVER THE EDGES AS MANY OTHER RESTAURANTS HAVE. COULD HARDLY TASTE THE MINISCULE AMOUNT OF CHEESE, BUT THE BROTH WAS VERY GOOD.WILL NOT GO THERE EVER AGAIN!

I always know I can get amazing food at this restaurant, which is one of the real hidden gems in the region. It's a terrific escape from the bustle and constant intensity of Miami because to the laid-back vibe.

I'm french and I go there with my family. This is one the only place that's still family owned and not pricey for the quality. The service is insanely good . I worked in the restaurant industry all my life and let me tell you to see how well they are organized because it's all done by the family. The place is small and cozy but can fit a good amount of people and they only have the daughter run the entire place . She can wait on tables, hosting, bartender the 360. And the food is cook by the parents. They have a mussels special that they are known for but the entire menu is outstanding. The onion soup delicious! The pepper sauce! Reallllllll french friessssI'm going there today lol because they close for the holidays and I told my wife we going and I think she's happier thank her Christmas gift!

We have been walking by Le Comptoir for almost 2 years now and finally decided to give them a try. Wonderful French cafe/bistro featuring mussels and other French cuisine. We decided to try the French onion soup and mussels a providence. The mussels were accompanied with either a glass of wine or a beer and fries. I was especially a fan of the placemats!
