WANTED TO TRY THEIR FRENCH ONION SOUP!. FIRST OF ALL $11 IS HIGHER THAN MOST PLACES. SOUP ARRIVED WITH VERY LITTLE GREYURE CHEESE ON TOP. NONE FLOWING OVER THE EDGES AS MANY OTHER RESTAURANTS HAVE. COULD HARDLY TASTE THE MINISCULE AMOUNT OF CHEESE, BUT THE BROTH WAS VERY GOOD.WILL NOT GO THERE EVER AGAIN!

I'm french and I go there with my family. This is one the only place that's still family owned and not pricey for the quality. The service is insanely good . I worked in the restaurant industry all my life and let me tell you to see how well they are organized because it's all done by the family. The place is small and cozy but can fit a good amount of people and they only have the daughter run the entire place . She can wait on tables, hosting, bartender the 360. And the food is cook by the parents. They have a mussels special that they are known for but the entire menu is outstanding. The onion soup delicious! The pepper sauce! Reallllllll french friessssI'm going there today lol because they close for the holidays and I told my wife we going and I think she's happier thank her Christmas gift!

We have been walking by Le Comptoir for almost 2 years now and finally decided to give them a try. Wonderful French cafe/bistro featuring mussels and other French cuisine. We decided to try the French onion soup and mussels a providence. The mussels were accompanied with either a glass of wine or a beer and fries. I was especially a fan of the placemats!

My favorite family owned French bistro. The escargot and lots of fresh baked bread are must haves, along with their mussels served with crispy fries. The duck l'orange and pork chops are wonderful for a meal as well. Bon appétit mes amis ?️ see you after the summer!

Wasn't really that French. Cordon Bleu was tasty but not many other dishes related to a French restaurant. I don't like to be negative but the service was ugly: was not professional or caring. Asking for tips in cash seemed fishy. The bread was good. Hardly any decent wines at all.

What a cute French bistrot! Nice decor with a garlic touch! Interesting menu, I came for an early dinner alone to enjoy some French classics! So, I started with the escargot then the mussels then the duck! Everything was spot-on! Just a wonderful dining experience without the frills! Very decent pricing for this tasty authentic classic garlic fare! Merci!
My wife and I both had the mussels, which were great. Our friends got the duck and steak, that they enjoyed.

The food was delicious…however, my husbands meal came as 2 small pieces of fish and nothing else with a tab of $44.00. I would have hopes for a potato or rice or veggies to have been included.
