Our first time at Mexicote in Hollywood. It’s a small, dine-in fast-food Mexican spot. We ordered the birra tacos, steak tacos, and Al Pastor tacos; a side of street corn and beans. Everything was flavorful, the most flavor being the steak tacos! We’re happy to have a good, real Mexican food spot in the neighborhood! (P.S. They serve breakfast!!)

We came here for dinner one night and left very impressed. They had really good chips and salsa which were freshly made and complimentary, of course. My lady said her shrimp tacos had A+ quality shrimp that could stand alone. My birria tacos were excellent. Flavors were pretty reserved in the beef and the consommé, but together they were perfect. The salsas were pretty good and not super hot. Beyond tacos, the menu has all the essentials and nothing too fancy. There's a decent amount of sitting space inside and outside. Service was great. I couldn't complain about this place if I tried!

This pains me to do this, but today was the last hair I will eat in my food from this place. I’ve been coming for years and years. Three hairs in 12 months is not just a once and a while. It’s a full blown issue. Love the staff, very friendly. Food is great, when there is no hair in it. Picture is a carnitas sope.
