It was my first time trying Haitian food and it was incredible. I only ordered one plate of food and the older lady who was very sweet brought an extra plate for my wife free of charge. I can’t recommend this place enough! I’ll definitely be coming back
Online ordering was super easy and I got a confirmation AND a phone call when my order was ready. I ordered "mumi's griot" and the portions are generous. Don't let it being a "virtual restaurant" (yes, it's basically someone's residential home) scare you off. Often times the quality of Haitian food is inversely proportional to the decor and atmosphere, i.e. much fancier places don't always offer the best level of food. Give Mumi's...
I got a boulet (6 Haitian meatballs) plate with diri kole. Food tastes good. Didn't get a chance to take a picture but it was a full plate. Yes, it is residential but there is a banner out front to let you know. Will be back for sure.
