I have placed several orderes with Peter's Florida Seafood and unless they called me and told me something was not in stock, I received it the next day. Their fish is always fresh and exactly as advertised.

I ordered the Royal Red Shrimp, 5 pounds. For my sons birthday dinner. They didn't put my entire address on the box and it went to a very small town almost 40 miles from my house. A man from Frank's called and said it had been delivered. I told him it had not been so he called UPS and they told him where it was. I know my UPS driver so I called him. He told me the address in the other town where it was. But also told me that there were no street signs. I had no choice but to go try and find it. And hope no one had opened it! After looking for over an hour and a half, I found it sitting on a patio. No one was home so I got it and came home. It was in tact and still cold. BUT WHEN I OPENED THE SHRIMP TO COOK IT, IT WAS ABOUT THE SIZE OF MY THUMB NAIL! I don't know if you have ever had Royal Red Shrimp but it is LARGE! 5 Pounds of True Royal Red Shrimp should of fed our 6 people with a lot of Shrimp left over!!! With Shrimp this size you would need 15 pounds!!!
Needless to say I will never order from Peter's Florida Seafood again!!!
After my order going to the wrong town because Frank's didn't put my whole address they said they would send me a nice gift of seafood I would really love. Never received anything! When I called them to tell them that couldn't of been Royal Red Shrimp he said he would talk to someone and call me right back. That was over two weeks ago! Never Heard A Word!!!
I ordered 50 dollars worth of Grouper, which was two small pieces. My Grandson doesn't like Shrimp so the Grouper was for him. He said it was good.
If you do order from this place, I hope you have better luck than I had!!!

Great quality and reasonably priced. Delivery was perfect and the fish was excellent.

Arrived exactly when promised frozen solid with no signs of thawing (a good thing). We thawed over the course of 2 days in the refrigerator and prepped (sous-vide followed by grilling over charcoal). This was some of the freshest octopus we have ever had - including octopus at nice restaurants. Will definitely be ordering again.

We ordered this seafood package from Peters Florida seafood. As you see, the red snapper and yellow tail snapper are very dark in color for a white meat fish . In my professional opinion as a former seafood wholesaler and restaurant professional, the snapper I received was not fresh and it arrived on ice but minimally cool. Contrary to my better judgment, I ate the yellow tail snapper yesterday and suffered from a severe case of food poisoning. I called Peter to request a refund or at least a partial refund and he was disrespectful and dismissive while claiming not to understand that reef fish of this larger size can contain toxins and often reef fish may not be safe to eat. He agreed to call back with the decision concerning my request for a refund. He totally ignored his word to call me back and he did not offer any refund. Good luck and be careful.UPDATE: Peter has now blocked my phone calls! He does not stand behind his products. Obviously, my health and my satisfaction are not priorities at this so-called "fresh seafood' supplier. Just look at his unsanitary, cross-contamination prone packaging procedures on Youtube before he removes the videos and see for yourself.
