Peter's Florida Seafood Fresh Fish at Home

I ordered 6 pounds of Faroe salmon. I removed the fish, packed in plastic, and opened it; was very slimy and really didn't appear to be that fresh. I continued opening the plastic packs; all the fish appeared to be in the same condition. I carefullly washed each piece of salmon and dryed it. Then I packaged in butchers paper and froze it leaving 2 pieces out so I could cook it. I put salt, pepper, and garlic on the fish and put it in the frig. That evening I put it in a stainless steel frying pan and sautaed it. It smelled very fishy. I have ordered Faroe salmon twice before from a different company and it did not look or smell like the salmon from Peters. I emailed Peters with my concerns and received a short email not saying very much and not even giving me a sorry, or even a concern. I emailed back and asked how I could return the fish; no response. Personally I would not recommened ordering from Peters. There plenty of better on-line fish companies that actually care. PLW Chicago

I have placed several orderes with Peter's Florida Seafood and unless they called me and told me something was not in stock, I received it the next day. Their fish is always fresh and exactly as advertised.

I ordered the Royal Red Shrimp, 5 pounds. For my sons birthday dinner. They didn't put my entire address on the box and it went to a very small town almost 40 miles from my house. A man from Frank's called and said it had been delivered. I told him it had not been so he called UPS and they told him where it was. I know my UPS driver so I called him. He told me the address in the other town where it was. But also told me that there were no street signs. I had no choice but to go try and find it. And hope no one had opened it! After looking for over an hour and a half, I found it sitting on a patio. No one was home so I got it and came home. It was in tact and still cold. BUT WHEN I OPENED THE SHRIMP TO COOK IT, IT WAS ABOUT THE SIZE OF MY THUMB NAIL! I don't know if you have ever had Royal Red Shrimp but it is LARGE! 5 Pounds of True Royal Red Shrimp should of fed our 6 people with a lot of Shrimp left over!!! With Shrimp this size you would need 15 pounds!!!
Needless to say I will never order from Peter's Florida Seafood again!!!
After my order going to the wrong town because Frank's didn't put my whole address they said they would send me a nice gift of seafood I would really love. Never received anything! When I called them to tell them that couldn't of been Royal Red Shrimp he said he would talk to someone and call me right back. That was over two weeks ago! Never Heard A Word!!!
I ordered 50 dollars worth of Grouper, which was two small pieces. My Grandson doesn't like Shrimp so the Grouper was for him. He said it was good.
If you do order from this place, I hope you have better luck than I had!!!

Great quality and reasonably priced. Delivery was perfect and the fish was excellent.
