There are no words to describe how amazing this bakery is. You can’t order wrong. You will be so satisfied. What makes it even better is the workers, they have such warmth and hospitality. Having breakfast here every morning was a highlight of my vacation.

To start, as I’m walking up to the front door an older couple is coming out, so as a nice gesture I hold it open for them before heading in. No “thank you” no anything. When I walk in, no one acknowledges you. I walk up to the pastry counter and take off my sunglasses & look to see what they have. Multiple employees behind the glass are talking amongst themselves. I stand there for about 5 minutes and still not a single employee acknowledges that I’m standing there waiting to select pastries. Two customers walk in after me and get a hello. Ok so after that I just walked out. It’s unfortunate cause I used to come here before when it was “red hook bakery” and everything was phenomenal. Sad to see this is how your employees treat paying customers.

I only purchased a vanilla cappuccino however it was delicious.
Tried a couple of their pastries and they were all really good. But my favorite was the almond croissant. So good!

Came to eat with my gf... they was busy so took 45 min to get my food (that's was ok bc they noticed it) ... but no her food...after 10 min that im waiting for her food i told her its getting cold , at least take it back and bring it together... so after another 25 min they bring her food and not mine ...another wait of 10 min till I was so upset and didn't want it anymore..so I paid 50 $ and then needed to go eat in pita plus...ty for shifty experience
I was excited to try this place based on reviews but was disappointed. It took forever to get French toast, I specifically asked no fruits just plain. They brought it drowned in sauce, with fruits on the side after 20+ minutes- waiting forever. The service took forever, I asked for honey on my avocado toast and they forgot to bring it. Probably a better spot for people that are Jewish.

While the food was delicious, the service and wait were unacceptable.
I was there in the morning and there was only three or four other customers in the store at the time. I waited for my breakfast over 25 minutes, and when I finally got it, some stuff were wrong on my plate.
The customer in front of me waited just for a coffee over 20 minutes. When she finally asked where it is, they gave her the cup of coffee that probably wasn’t hot anymore and was sitting behind the register.
The whole system there is a hot mess. It’s upsetting because this can really be a good spot if they get their systems and acts in place.
(I also wish there was an option for custom omelettes and cheddar cheese)

If you're not Jewish you're NOT welcomed there. The staff behind the counter were rude, not welcoming, not all pastries have prices on it and NO INGREDIENTS and NO date at all!! The worst was that they OVERCHARGED me $5+ and I trusted them and paid what she asked for 😢💔
They charged me $52.21 total for 1 sourdough bread, 1 smoothie, 1choc croissants, bite-sized pastries (4pieces) and one choc babka for $17.99?? instead of $12 advertised on their menu. I paid without asking but grabbed the receipt that she did NOT want to give me. SHAME on them!!
Now I understand why they have so many positive reviews - because people got $5 dollars off their next order for giving them 5stars. PLEASE PLEASE DON'T fall for it do NOT go there!! Theris an amazing cafe next to them NOIR - go there better - save your money and have a good experience.
